It's also located close to the Highland Park & Southwest Museum metro stops. The home was recently renovated and features bamboo flooring throughout, with tile in the kitchen and bathrooms. The home has two levels - the top being the main living area and a bonus room downstairs complete with a custom built queen-size murphy bed bookshelf which allows the room to serve as an additional sleeping area when desired and an office/library. The home has an open floor plan and features large windows with beautiful views of Mount Washington. During the day, the main living area is light, bright and airy without harsh, direct sunlight. The street is elevated from the main streets of the area, which allows for a nice breeze throughout much of the year.
