The very few low reviews I’ve read are regarding the homeless population in Seattle and noise from construction nearby years ago. I’ve been here only a week and my experience so far has been lovely. It took forever and a day to receive a relocation date from my HR and Casey was understanding and accommodating with my move in. The units are some of the most spacious in the city. My father in law owns a welding and construction company in Spokane, WA. He was extremely impressed by the build quality of the unit, specifically the kitchen. Overall, the building is secure and clean. Elevators run fast and I appreciated being able to reserve one for move in. The amenities are good and the residents I’ve met so far are friendly. I had a small issue with my keys at move in and maintenance fixed it within minutes. This welcome gift meant a lot! Thanks to all Martin staff for making this feel like a home.
If you want to live in the heart of downtown, look no further than The Martin. Surrounded by fantastic restaurants, a short walk to theaters and the waterfront, and close to many corporate offices, The Martin is a great place to live, work, and play. Their amenities, such as the gym, resident lounge, theater room, pet area, and rooftop deck/resident garden provide clean, open spaces to live if you ever want to escape your apartment. But believe me, you won't want to leave your apartment anyways - spacious, modern, and thoughtfully laid-out, the apartments feel like a more permanent, functional home compared to other apartment complexes in the area. Being in the middle of downtown, you also have incredible city views and sunsets to take in each night.
The building itself has many points of secure entry so you always feel safe, which was a big bonus for us. And the management company and staff are incomparable to other apartment buildings - they always are friendly and will chat with you, or respond to any issues as quickly as possible. It is clear they pride themselves on providing excellent services for residents and that pride is well deserved. When I try to think of downsides, the only thing that comes to mind is that sometimes one of the elevators goes down. But there's two elevators, so even that is more of a small annoyance than a real problem. It's safe to say that we hope to be here for a while and highly recommend The Martin to anyone searching for a new apartment. Thank you for giving us such a wonderful experience!
I love living here! The staff members are incredibly nice and are so helpful. The apartments are gorgeous with modern finishes and appliances. The building features a pet terrace, a lounge with a seating area and pool table, a massive kitchen area with a large table and bar tables, a movie room, a business center, small gym, grill area with a heated indoor/outdoor space, and finally a wonderful rooftop space. I think the rents here are fair for what you’re getting in the apartment itself + amenities + location. And many of the apartments have space needle views! My neighbors are super nice too and the building puts on a few events each month. It makes for a really lovely community. 100/10 recommend this building

With my husband and our dog, we arrived at the Martin 9 months ago.
Before moving in, we took the time to look at the rentals available in the city, and we visited several buildings before choosing the Martin.
In addition to its location, which is practical and perfect (nearby stores, Pike Market, etc.), what first attracted us was the kindness of the Martin’s team.
Casey, Naryia, Christian and the other members of the team are always smiling, pleasant and ready to listen to us if we have a slightest problem 🙏 .
Our accommodation is well appointed, we have space, and our little dog feels good!
It may happen that there are some problems with the elevator or the trash, BUT this never lasts long and the team is always on the lookout to remedy these problems, problems which are common in any other residences.
Activities and parties are also organized very often and the team always makes it a point to ensure that we have a good time!
We are satisfied and really happy to live here, with our apartment, and with the Martin in general !
We recommend the Martin without hesitation !!!! ❤️

The Martin has been my home for 4+ years and I am so grateful for the community it has brought me. I moved to Seattle during the pandemic and didn’t know anyone. The staff immediately welcomed me, and have continued to be here for me along the way. The location is amazing- close to the light rail, a major bus stop, tourist attractions (space needle, pike place, etc). I can easily hop on a bus and go anywhere in the city! I feel safe and secure despite being downtown, and they even host fun events every few weeks from BBQs to bingo nights and more. I can’t recommend living here enough!!
Misael is an exceptional maintenance professional and a true asset to our building. Recently, I had an issue with a stuck door that had been causing a lot of frustration. Misael promptly came to address the problem and fixed it efficiently. His attention to detail, professionalism, and friendly demeanor made the entire experience seamless. He goes above and beyond to ensure residents are comfortable and satisfied. Thank you, Misael, for your excellent work.

Our little 3 member family has lived at the Martin for 5 years now and we really think we've hit the jackpot. The apartments are well designed and bigger than any other high rise in the area, the location is excellent, the management team is not only great at their job but they're also wonderful people. It's been an absolute joy to interact with them everyday. Meeting the team on the way out for his morning walk is my pup's favorite part of the day! He gets cookies, hugs and a lot of love.
I have lived in an urban 1 bedroom apartment at 'The Martin' for a period of 1 year and my stay here had been excellent. The apartment is well built without any wasted space. This ensures I got the best value for my money. They have a good set of amenities with a small gym. This apartment is right in the middle of downtown, so it has easy access to most places in Seattle.
Some notes about the management:
I basically found this apartment online via the website in March 2022 and I was traveling, so I was half way around the world in a different country. The property manager Mae Garcia had been super helpful in providing me with the right information on time which helped me make my decision.
As soon as I got here, I was greeted by Lauren who helped me with my move in procedures. I did not have to run back to them for anything as she was thorough with the information she provided and ensured I had everything I needed on Day-1
A special thanks to Casey, who tracked down my packages even before I arrived and I was surprised to see them already in my apartment before I stepped into it for the first time. She also helped with the tons of luggage I walked in with and was really helpful with any requests for my entire stay at 'The Martin'. She always greeted me and all the other residents with warmth and kindness.
The rest of 'The Martin' property staff Kilee, Jaimen and Vince have also been super helpful and kind when I needed some information or any kind of maintenance requests.
Overall, I deeply enjoyed my stay here and would recommend staying at this apartment.
