Hello there! This ad is for a LARGE in-law on the bottom floor of a beautiful row house at Haight and Laguna in the Lower Haight / Hayes Valley area. This will be a sublet until August of 2013 at which point the landlord will want the tenants to sign a new lease. Ideally, you will be moving in for the long term, but short term can be discussed as well. The room can be partly furnished or completely empty depending on your preference, and is complete with a kitchenette area including your own two-basin sink, and plenty of storage space. You will have your own door to the bathroom, which is shared with one other guy, and the bathroom includes a really nice enclosed shower with massage jets. To give you an idea of the size of the room, I have a giant desk with a desktop computer, two couches, a TV with surround sound, and a hi-fi setup in this room along with my bed and all my other stuff. Also, the bed, couches, and shelving are available if you're interested. If not, we can have them moved out. The upper floor of the house has a TV room, a dining room, a large kitchen with dishwasher, disposal, and stone countertops, and a patio area that gets sun during the day. The patio also has a grill (which needs some TLC, but it works). There are high ceilings throughout the upper floor and it gets plenty of light during the day. There is a washer and dryer in the garage available for your use, as well. You'll be living with four roommates - 3 girls and one guy, running the gamut of occupations from an attorney to a therapist. Everyone is in their early 30's, very chill, sociable, and easy to get along with. They are awesome roommates, and I really hate to move out! IMPORTANT - What we're looking for: someone in their late 20's to mid 30's who is sociable but also respectful of people's space, drinks on occasion, and is entertaining and brings something to the table. The details: Rent - $1500 per month Total cost due at move-in (first months rent, last months rent, and security deposit) - 3x1500 = $4500 Utilities - Generally about $30-40 per month Cable + Internet = $50 per month Cleaning lady = $40 per month (only $20 per month if you prefer her to not clean your room) One-year lease required (though you may sublet between now and July, as that's when the entire house signs the new lease) Move in date somewhere between May 1 and May 10, 2013.
