Hi, my name is Nick. My current roommate is moving out, and I am looking for someone to rent the 2nd room. About the apartment: For the common/shared space: I have most of the furnishings and items needed for the kitchen, living room, and bathroom. I am open to getting rid of some of my items (e.g. couch, tv, etc.) to make room for yours. There is 1 off-street parking spot that you can have which comes with a permit sticker. The apartment is in walking distance to a park, grocery store, a few restaurants, Gore Place, a public swimming pool, the Charles River trail, and Waltham center. It is in bike riding distance of Moody St. and Bentley University. The landlord takes care of repairs, snow removal, and yard work. Laundry is coin operated. $2 per wash and  $2 per dryer cycle. The total apartment size is approximately 1,000 sq ft living space. It is a 2nd-floor walk up. The stairs are wide and simple (easy for move-in). Utilities: Electricity and the internet are not included in the rent. Electricity is approximately $53 per month. Internet is $58 per month. I am looking to 50/50 split those costs with you. Heat and hot water are included in the rent :) About the room: It is approximately 11.5' x 13'. It has 2 windows and a large closet (approximately 7.5' x 2'). About me: I am a 34-year-old single non-smoking male. I have lived in this apartment since 2012 and am planning to stay here for a while. I am an engineer working full time. I am currently working from home, and spend most of my time here. I am hoping to return to the office in the fall. I like to ride a bicycle around town and go for 2-mile runs. I like to cook. I tend to do simple meals on workdays, and something a bit more complicated on the weekends. I open to doing planned meals with you / alternating days. I got the Covid-19 vaccine. I am easygoing and pretty laid back. I consider myself an introvert. What I am looking for in you: A professional/working non-smoking adult. I might consider a graduate student. I am looking for someone that can be respectful during business hours when I am working from home and at night. Someone that cleans up after themselves in a timely manner (e.g. dishes, clutter, etc.) Terms: I am hoping for someone that is planning to stay for a while (e.g. a year or more), but if you only need a few months, I open to discussing that. I am looking for the following upfront: (1) Prorated rent amount for the 1st partial month. (2)  the full rent for the following month. (3) last month rent. (4) Proof of employment/enrollment.
