The Upper East Side, or UES, is one of the most affluent and elegant neighborhoods in New York City. It is bounded by Central Park to the west, the East River to the east, 59th Street to the south, and 96th Street to the north. The UES is home to some of the city’s most prestigious cultural institutions, such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Guggenheim Museum, and the Frick Collection. It also boasts some of the finest restaurants, shops, and galleries in the city, as well as charming brownstones, historic mansions, and luxury apartment buildings. The UES is a great place to stay if you want to experience the refined and sophisticated side of New York City, while enjoying the convenience and tranquility of a residential neighborhood. For transportation, the F and Q lines at Lexington Av are under 500 feet away, and the N, R, 4, 5, 6, and W lines at Lexington Av-59 St are 0.11 miles away.
