This second-floor, spacious beach apartment is located in Vilano Beach, just a short walk from the Vilano Fishing Pier, Public Beach, and popular restaurants. The apartment features a large master bedroom with a king-size bed and a private en-suite bath, as well as a guest bedroom with a queen-size bed and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. The apartment is equipped with beach supplies galore, including a wagon, chairs, an umbrella, and toys. An outdoor shower is available to wash off after a day at the beach. For larger groups, you can book the downstairs apartment, Turtle Hideaway, to accommodate an additional four guests. Bikes and beach supplies are shared amenities with the upstairs unit and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The laundry room is shared with separate access next to the unit and is only available during daytime hours. The parking area is also shared, with one space reserved for the Sandpiper Cottage. Vilano Beach is a quiet coastal community known for its sandy Atlantic shoreline and a fishing pier stretching into the Tolomato River. The area is surrounded by casual beach grills, pizza places, and a marina. The Vilano Beach Nature Boardwalk, near the Francis and Mary Usina Bridge, features mosaic art of local wildlife. The apartment is only a 5-8 minute drive to downtown St. Augustine. Quiet hours are enforced between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM per St. Johns County ordinance. The minimum age to book is 21, and the primary guest must be present for the duration of the stay. No parties are allowed, and any guests visiting outside of the reservation must be approved by the hosts prior to their arrival. The home has an actively recording security camera at the front door. No pets are allowed on the property at any time, and no smoking or vaping is allowed on the property, including the front porch. Late check-outs and early check-ins are not permitted without prior approval, and guests who stay past checkout time will be charged an additional fee of $50 per hour. No illegal drugs or underage drinking are allowed, and no foreign objects should be flushed down the toilet. Parents with younger children should note that the home is not child-proofed and use the home at their own risk.
