I absolutely love living here. My unit is an architectural masterpiece. Florida ceiling windows in both my living room and bedroom. Amazing views. Great layout. And now let’s talk about the staff! The front desk makes you feel so welcomed. if they haven’t seen me in a couple of days, I get a call to make sure I’m OK. The lobby and the building in general are beautiful. They even have an app so that when you want your car to be brought up to the ramp all you need to do is click on a button and when you get downstairs it’s waiting for you. could not be happier.

The Grand has been the best apartment I have lived at so far in LA. Michael Z in the leasing office was patient while I searched through the building to find the right floor plan. When I applied and even now that I have moved in, Michael and the concierge team are easy to get a hold of.
I am impressed with the level of detail put into the building. I've never sat in a lobby and wanted to stay there.....! My unit has floor to ceiling windows on the east side of the building. At night I can see the whole city lit up.
Two other important things: valet and security.
Valet: Never used it other than at a restaurant, but I actually am liking it more than I thought I would at home. The valet team allows me to request my car in advance and has it waiting for me. The management team is open to suggestions for improving the service as well.
Security: Appears well staffed. I have lived in buildings before where I was scared to leave the lobby or walk through the garage... here I feel secure because the lobby is always staffed and there is security posted by the lobby, this in addition to the valet staff.
I will update my review if anything changes but I am happy with the decision I made to move here.

A very special exhibition the Jean-Michel Basquiat showing curated by his family was exceptional and a once in a lifetime experience ! simply Stellar magnificent ! more people should know who's he was as a Premier artist of color in America they need too know his life story, what he contributed to the popular culture, how he changed popular Modern Art you must go see this exhibit!!!
We toured this building with Michael today and we were blown away! We had a lot of special requests for the tour and he went above and beyond to accommodate every single one, so the entire process was smooth and easy for us.
We also found the security staff members (we missed their names), the valet Cyrus, the desk concierge Patty, and even the building engineer Nevin all so incredibly warm and welcoming that we could immediately see making this architectural wonder our home.
The finishes are top notch. Lots of amenities. Smallish fridges in the studios, but otherwise appliances were exceptional (European-style washers and dryers even have a strong sanitize cycle!). The units are bigger than I expected for this price in the most upscale area the city.
The neighborhood is actually clean, walkable (with actual people walking around), and family friendly (especially for LA). There are arts amenities all around, including the Disney concert hall, the Broad museum, MOCA, and the Colburn school of music. Lots of financial-type towers around too, and restaurants. And the Conrad hotel next door is opening next week.
After our appointment we walked over to the Broad, got burgers from a food truck, and enjoyed illy coffee and gelato while listening to live music on a shaded lawn. If you’re looking for good value for an upscale residence in a friendly neighborhood in LA, call Michael to set up a tour of the Grand. You won’t be disappointed!

I recently moved into The Grand residences and am in love with my experience thus far!
I’ve lived in DTLA for many years. I have lived at Aven, Thea, Atelier…. All great buildings but they had so much problems with homeless and safety. I was waiting for The Grand to open because I know the area to be safe and generally free of homeless.
Michael Z first contacted me for a tour and was very quick with his responses. He provided me virtual tours for all of the floor plans I was interested in before I even arrived! The time on the tour was efficient and I applied shortly after.
I am one of the first people to move in and so far all the staff has been very responsive. Any issues, they come right away.
I did have hesitation about valet at first, but it’s worked out great. I can request my car in advance and it’s waiting for me when I arrive to the lobby. No problems during morning rush hour.. so far, so good.
The Grand is definitely expensive compared to other options, but you can tell they have a much more high-end feel. I have not experienced any issues with homeless and there’s always a security by the lobby, which makes me feel safe.
10/10 so far…..

I love living here !! Anita was super helpful with everything, from helping me with everything i needed to move in, and making it very easy … to finally moving everything in, everything was a breeze. The concierge and the maintenance guy and the valet guys are all exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable, always willing to help and very kind, the staff here is so helpful and polite! I appreciate everyone of the staff here at the Grand ! I also cannot wait to see what stores will open in the area between the grand building and the Conrad hotel ! I’m definitely looking forward to this !
I love my view, i love everything , especially the big bathroom!

Exclusive residences in the heart of downtown Los Angeles California, with all the services one would expect to get in keeping with their location and relationship with a new architectural landmark in keeping with the rest of the city of Los Angeles. The staff is absolutely phenomenal in their courtesy, service, accuracy and details to theu' tenants. Highly recommend.
