I just wanted to review Brighton Vista Apartments, the Management Anchor Pacifica, and the manager Vilma. Having been here renting a unit for over 14 years now I can't state enough how great of a place it is. If I ever have any concerns about anything I can reach the manager ASAP 24/7 and any and all issues are literally addressed the next day. Can't state enough how happy I have been with Anchor Pacifica and Vilma for over 14 years. Great, very very safe, family friendly place to live, and they take dogs which is very rare so you will be surrounded by many happy dog lovers and considerate people. Thumbs up!!!!!!!

An Amazing place, very nice and quite. It's also pet friendly. Yeah we've been living here a bit less than 3 years and I can give an experienced opinion -this place is good to move in.

We stayed in this apartment complex for a few years and switched units a couple of times. The first time was because of mold and there wasn’t a window in the bathroom, and the second time was because we moved into a newer place (but also there were some issues with people smoking outside and there was a really weird smell coming from the living room). We really liked Vilma, however, we were a little disappointed with the security deposit/inspection. She came to check out our unit about three weeks before we moved out and she told us to basically not clean up because they were going to bring in cleaners anyway. She made it seem like maybe it would cost $250-$350 and it was an unavoidable charge. We were definitely going to clean and had a few people on deck to help us (we had three weeks to move and were moved out completely with a week to spare. Of course, we could’ve cleaned), but after her advice, we left it as is and just primed the wall we painted, as asked. We didn’t think it was a big deal, because when we moved out of the first apartment, we got the full deposit back and only lightly cleaned. We left the stove dirty, a couple of dishes on the counter, we gave them a free fridge, and the bathroom wasn’t touched, but the rest of the apartment looked like how we moved in originally. Well, we only got about half the deposit back, and when we asked for an itemized receipt, it just said “extra dirty”. She wasn’t able to give us an itemized receipt. After telling her the law requires an itemized receipt, the original was strangely suddenly edited to just mirror the emails i.e. “dirty stove”. It was strange because the “cleaning company” did not respond to us after reaching out to them several times, but she was able to get an edited receipt within an hour? We went back-and-forth with her for a while, but she eventually just stopped responding. Feels extremely shady. I would just be very very very careful moving into these apartments.
