So far I have only had an opportunity to view the property I am yet to be a tenant. I love what I saw. The representatives for the company stayed in close contact with me During the viewing process And answered all of my questions in a timely manner.

I lived here for 2 years and there were many positives, and many negatives. Overall, my actual unit was very cute and anytime I had an issue maintenance would repair it fast. However, there were multiple thefts and just sketchy things that would go on in the building and outdoors that swayed me to move. Management did not do anything about multiple thefts even when multiple people reported them. Bikes that were locked up on bike racks in the basement would get stolen almost routinely every couple months, yet management refused to install cameras. Packages and keys in the front door lock box would get stolen, but there was nothing to follow up on with it because there are no cameras ANYWHERE in the building. I witnessed multiple times employees of urban villages would come through and take everything off the bulletin board (Good and bad things) because someone had wrote a complaint and was trying to get other tenants to report the problem as well. Instead of addressing the issues, urban villages choose to be angry and petty. Rent will also increase drastically each year, even if it is not worth the value of the actual unit (no dishwasher, tiny kitchen, no in unit washer/dryer, the list goes on and on). Loved my unit and its charm, and also really liked the maintenance people, but the people in office need to be more amenable to the tenants.
