I lived in a studio apartment here for 1 full year and enjoyed my time at Tabor Commons, very much! The building is restructured, and the walls are thick enough that you don't hear too much outside noise coming in. Each door is secured with passcode locks, which helped me feel safe, and the interior design is so charming and quaint for this historic building. Yes, the square footage is small, but there are tinier apartments with a lot less charm available for more than what I paid rent for here. And the big windows in my apartment helped open up the space. Sarah, our property manager has always been especially kinds. I never had to wait for an answer to a question with her, and she always made me feel very welcomed with my interactions with her, all the way up until my move-out. It was so nice to live on Mt. Tabor in Portland, OR. The neighborhood is so cute to walk/jog around. There are really good cafes and restaurants/taverns that are a safe walking distance from the apartment. If you don't mind small spaces to live in, this area is one of the most charming areas in Portland to live in, right now - I personally suggest looking up inspiration from Pinterest for interior design ideas to make the space feel more like home.
