My family lived here for a year and it was not an ideal living situation. We were never without roaches and bugs no matter how clean I kept things and the management did nothing when I put in a maintenance request. We moved out and never heard a word from them about that request. I imagine the whole place is infested. All other maintenance requests were usually met and taken care of in a timely manner. Rudy was the main guy and he was great and kind. I think the other guys name was Cameron who was also helpful. The place was DIRTY when we got our keys and moved in. We were not allowed to see the place without signing papers as it wasn’t ready yet apparently. That seems to be a trend with management companies because our current apartment did the same thing. Anyways, with lots of elbow grease I made it comfortable. But considering there are large cleaning fees it should really be done before hand. (I’m aware that i could’ve pressed them on this but we desperately needed a place to live and had no time to waste.) When it came time to renew the lease they raised their prices. Which felt very unfair since other units were on the market for less than what we had been paying. Typical I suppose, but I still felt like we were being jipped. The flooring is vinyl which is preferable to most, however, it is noisy in these units! There is nothing to pad the noise from above and it sounds like a person is bowling up there (his dog was rolling a ball across the floor). It was excessively loud, but not because the person was being excessively loud, it was just poor construction and no insulation. The area is busy with lots of road and traffic noise. On the plus side you’re near a bus route should you need it. The schools nearby have playgrounds which came in handy for my child. The view out the back looking at the green field and tree line (and school), is so pleasant and way better than looking at a building. There is NOT enough parking spaces for the amount of vehicles tenants had and NO assigned parking. The parking lot was always full at night with people having to park in the handicapped spots, the loading zone, the fire truck zone, and sometimes behind other cars. I am not exaggerating. If you had guests over good luck. The gas station next door was convenient but also drew a sketchy crowd who liked to hangout under the tree on the other side of the fence. There’s an opening in the fence going through to the gas station so the property really felt exposed. I never felt safe living in these apartments. I will say, I cleaned the heck out of the apartment when we left. It was spotless. And they gave us our deposit back, which was large as we had no prior rental experience in recent years.
