I am very impressed with this property when compared to the previous apartments in the area I have lived in. The building is quite and smaller which makes for a more peaceful experience. The management company has been very responsive, professional and easy to work with.

The management company is Pilot Property Management and they were great to me the entire time I was here (18 months). Service was generally fast, and communication by email or phone was also quick. The location is great for a lot of things, but I cannot give it 5 stars simply because of the noise. This is a really noisy area and without AC, I heard plenty of homeless people and traffic during the night or evenings. There is a port by the front door of each apartment that you can hook up a portable AC to, so if you have one of those, the noise may not be as much of an issue for you.

I give two stars to this apartment complex because I loved living there before the management changed. The building is nice, and the location is super convenient. The only issue is that if your apartment is on the Queen Anne Ave side, it will be fairly noisy there. We have been living there for 1 year and 7 months, and liked it there. Then the management changed. We were on month to month lease, and first thing they did is they increased our lease by 600/month. It's business, I understand, but they did it at the beginning of the month saying that our lease ends at the end of the month, and if we want to resign, here are the new terms. If not, we should give a 20 days notice to them that we are moving out. We counted that if we exclude the weekend, then we have only a couple of days to decide if we are staying or not otherwise, we would not have been able to give a 20 days notice. We later learned that it was illegal, as if the tenants are on month to moth lease, they should receive a two month notice from the landlord about the change of terms. This way the tenants have time to look at other options on the market. In our case, they just kicked us out which is not really nice to do to people who have been living in their apartment complex for almost two years. Another thing was that a couple of days ago they hanged a sign up sheet in our complex's lobby requesting to write an apartment number and what parking spot is occupied by the tenants from that apartment. They threatened that if no information provided, they will assign those spots to the new residents. The information about parking is listed in the lease agreements, also new management sent out an online form to every tenant a week before asking to include the parking information there. I understand that they might have lost that information. However, it would have been nice if they apologized for that and asked the tenants to provide the parking information in the sign up sheet, no problem with that. I don't understand why they absolutely had to threaten tenants with potential loss of their parking spots. In conclusion I would say that I like the building and the location, but the new management is treating the tenants without respect and tries to squeeze as much money from the building as possible. If you think that you won't be interacting with the management, then move in, otherwise I don't recommend it.
