We only left for commuting reasons... there was literally no other reason to leave this place. Brian was a saint -- he responded promptly to any issues or questions we had. Maintenance request? Taken care of right away. I have never received that kind of service anywhere else. I even suggested a rug in front of the elevator (I slipped on a puddle) and Brian had one put in. And lastly... I erringly sent my keys down the garbage chute and he went down and fished them out of the garbage for me. Did I mention he was a saint? Here's what else we liked about living here: + Right by the QFC + Fitness center was clean and sufficient for our needs + Had composting, recycling bins, and easy trash disposal + Tall ceilings, nice appliances, carpet in bedroom easy to keep clean + Indoor mail and Amazon locker for packages + Gated garage with bike storage if you're into that sort of thing + Rooftop area was nice during summer. Has a grill. + Low-key, quiet area with short walking distance to pharmacy, grocery, cafés, bakery. Short driving distance to I-405 or the Park-and-Ride. + Good construction. Occasionally heard a neighbor sneeze or laugh, but no one got that rowdy. + Pet-friendly + I always felt safe and undisturbed The only con was that our apartment always seemed dark because the window faced a hill, and I sure wish they had balconies/porches.

Believe it or not, I have yet to actually move in... our lease starts March 1st, so I will update this review in 6/mo. This is just my overall initial reaction. Hannah in the leasing office has been great! My girlfriend and I looked at Saskia at Beardslee Crossing, Woodin Creek and another place, but for the price, location and overall quality of Emerald Crest, our choice was a no-brainer. Granite countertops, pendant lights w/LED lighting throughout the unit, one overly large deep sink, modern stainless steel appliances, faux wood flooring throughout the home (not in bedroom), modern Samsung washer and dryer, soft close cabinets, etc. the place is very, very nice. I actually came back for another tour of the unit I got approved for just so I could see it again. Lol. Very much looking forward to the next 18/mo here.
