I was just about to call the leasing office today to ask them question and read through some of the reviews and decided to include my 2 cents. The staff has been absolutely amazing to work with, both maintenance and front desk leasing agents. The maintenance guys helped me out tremendously by helping to install something I was not able to alone. The leasing agents and management have always been there to help and easy to work with. In order to address anything that may be a potential issue or that I have a question about, I go down to the office and communicate it directly to somebody. Based upon some of the other reviews I've read, this may be stunning ...but when I've communicated with any staff from there and let them know something, it's ALWAYS been addressed quickly and amended. As for elevators, going down and what not ...unfortunately, they involve electronics or hardware, things are going to happen. Anytime something like that has happened like that, I immediately get an email from the office notifying me that they are on it. Their communication has been excellent, and regards to things like that. If there is a back order on parts due to whatever the circumstance, it's not their fault and out of their control. To everybody that has complained about these small things, go to a third world country and live there for 6 months to see how good you actually have it. Thank you to all the hard-working staff for making it a great place to live.

I have been living at the Windsor on South Lamar for almost 2 years now. Overall, it's been a really pleasant experience. Like most of the other reviewers, I can't say enough good things about the maintenance staff! They are top notch. They respond to maintenance requests typically within a day or two of submission, and are always courteous of your pets and WFH schedule. They have been consistently great over the past 2 years and I have really appreciated it! The leasing consultants have had a bit of turn over in the office, but the most recent Property Manager Katie, and her team, have been wonderful. There have been noticeable positive repairs and changes to the property since she has taken over, and the communication has been great. Only major complaint is the rent prices last year (2022). While we are in a great location near downtown, there were some ridiculous rent increases last summer into the fall, and I had many friends who were priced out of living here. The leasing office, at the time, was not open to concessions or negotiations to keep people in units, and many of those people moved East to newer buildings which was a bummer. The community here, especially if you have a dog, is really great. And the pool is a chill social spot to hang in the summer and make new friends. Having moved here alone, the Windsor community was the main source of my initial friendships here in Austin. I am hopeful that the prices have stabilized a bit across the city, and that those who would like to continue to be a part of the Windsor community will have the opportunity to do so!
