So far so good...I've only been a resident for a few months, but the 2X2 is nice and the area is real quiet. Very nice apartment community, and I haven't had any problems with neighbors or managment or maintenance. Works out perfectly for my commute as the bus stop to take me downtown is right in front of the complex and there are several bus routes available.

I recently moved from Crossing, but I lived there for two years and LOVED it! First, a quick caveat: as with most apartments, you can hear your neighbors pretty clearly if they aren't quiet. I ended up buying a small speaker to play white noise at night because I could hear my neighbors talking on the other side of my bedroom wall. I could also hear my next-door neighbors from my bathroom some days. But all in all, the noise levels were manageable. Now on to all of the great things about Crossing: 1) The management is fantastic. I can't speak highly enough of Lisa. She's been nothing but professional and courteous since I moved in. If I ever had a problem (including the aforementioned noise complaints), she was always on top of it. She's always been transparent and accommodating of any of my requests. After dealing with an unresponsive manager at another property, I appreciate Lisa's prompt responses even more. 2) The property feels safe, and is mostly quiet. Aside from the occasional passing car bumping loud music late at night (which can't be controlled), the community itself is pretty quiet. I always felt comfortable going in and out. Most neighbors are pretty friendly, too. Some won't speak to you, but mostly everyone else will at least smile or wave when you see them. 3) Location location location! Less than a few minutes bike ride to the river, or a nice leisurely walk. Grocery stores, coffee shops and pharmacies are all within a 5 minute drive, which makes running errands a breeze. Not to mention the beautiful new Delta Shores is about a 5 minute drive away as well. 4) The maintenance team is always very quick and responsive. Any request that Lisa put in on my behalf was taken care of within a day or two. I can't say how much I miss living here. Crossing was my first bachelor pad, and more importantly, it was my own comfortable space where I got to make tons of great memories. Needless to say, I highly recommend The Crossing to anyone looking for a great apartment that isn't too far from Downtown Sacramento.
