I can’t say enough good things about the top notch experience we’ve had leasing at Ice House Midtown, particularly the customer-centric, detailed assistance of Yoana Herrera. If there was a rating higher than 5 stars, I would give it. The location is idyllic too-steps away from anything anyone needs-awesome coffee shop, Safeway, a brewery, winery, quick burger, healthy salad, or farm to table sit down meal. Highly recommend Ice House to anyone looking to rent in the area.

I was a resident at Ice House for 2 years and I loved it! My 1-bedroom apartment was everything I was looking for: modern design and appliances, a good view (I was in the 1720 building looking out towards S St.), high ceilings (awesome!), big windows, and my own personal laundromat (washer-dryer in the unit). The balcony was great (it was small) and big enough for two people to enjoy; it was nice to open the balcony door and let some fresh air into the apartment. The bathroom was very spacious and big enough to add a tall cabinet. The closet in the living room/kitchen area was awesome for additional storage. The bedroom had more than enough space for a queen size bed, a small single recliner and some tables. The bedroom closet was standard size and big enough for one person. I only had a few minor repair issues that needed fixing and each time the on-site maintenance person responded and fixed the problem. I will say that having a Safeway, literally, as my next-door neighbor was awesome and so convenient. It was a 2-minute walk from my apartment. Philz Coffee was also a next-door neighbor and so delicious! Their iced coffees are so good and being able to go downstairs and walk over was fantastic. I think the apartment was well worth the monthly rent and the location on R St was perfect. The location was incredible! I could walk to so many different places (coffee shops, restaurants and bars) within a 15-20 minute walk; it was awesome not having to worry about driving and parking to go somewhere in the mid-town area. Erin, the main manager, was so helpful, friendly and nice. From the first day I met Erin to the last day when I dropped off my keys, she was awesome. Thanks Erin! I highly recommend Ice House to anyone looking for an apartment with a modern design and fantastic location. Ice House = Incredible!!! Thank you Ice House and Erin!
