Update 11/6/2021***** I don't know who is responding to these but I HIGHLY DOUBT it's actually property management. This property is managed by ONE person now. Although, I'm sure she does the best she can, she's a multi-prop manager with very limited time. This was not a NEGATIVE review, it was an HONEST one for a property that has negativity effected the tenants. ~ I digress Been here for two year. It WAS a nice/new building before the tornado hit in 2020. Since then it's been a bit rachet. They've changed management about 3x (in 2 years). Half the building flooded and jacked up the electrical system. They haven't invested in fixing the issues at a high or even average standard. It's been over a year and half the building is still lacking consistent maintenance. Pretty sure the building is not up to codes anymore and it doesn't seem like there's any urgency is meeting those standards. The contractors set the fire alarms off several times a month all summer. I think the fire department just gave up and stopped coming. They play music in the hallways while they work, are not supervised by 10th and Jefferson, and I wouldn't be surprised if some of them have been living in the vacant apartments. There is no administrative office actually onsite. I'm embarrassed to invite anyone over. I literally woke up today and couldn't leave my apartment because they had pulled up all the hallway carpet and put glue on the the entire hallway floor... No notification from anyone about this. How the hell am I supposed to go to the store?? Now for some pros: The units and staff have always been nice. :) That's it! Overall, they really need to work on getting better property management and contractors. The best part about the property was the rooftop, which is STILL unavailable. Communication is very sparse now due to ONE multi-property manager trying to meet the needs of paying tenants. I would definitely VISIT the property before applying here and ask specifically about property management expectations, rent increases, maintenance, and security.

I'd love to live here, if they would actually respond to my emails instead of just using bots. Asked about availability over a week ago and still no response. EDIT: Finally got a response, but it's frustrating that it took so long for them to be transparent with their pricing.
