I have been living here for about 7 months now. This is the 3rd apartment I have lived in since being in Omaha, and it is by far the best one. My fiancé and I were extremely picky when looking for new apartments and this one was extremely clean, the apartments themselves were in great shape and very big for the price we pay, and the staff are very easy to work with. So if your looking for a new place to live give this place a call and get on the list as soon as possible! Pool season is right around the corner!😊

I love living here my neighbors are all so friendly. Management is awesome they are always on top of things. My garbage disposal broke recently and they came that day to fix it. I'm honestly proud to say I live here it truly is home!

My fiancé and I moved here two years ago from Florida. We were not able to come and tour apartments before we moved in, so we did a lot of online walk throughs and talking with representatives over the phone. We talked with many leasing agents over the phone who promised they would help us find the best apartment in our budget, and then they never called back. When I finally stumbled upon The Oaks at Lakeview everything was different. I work directly with Shelly and she was able to find the perfect apartment for my fiancé and I without us being there to look at it. We were able to do all the paperwork over the phone/online since it would still be a month or so until we moved in. Now we were nervous when it came time to move in because we were not sure what the apartment would really look like in person. On move in when we walked into the apartment it did not disappoint. It was spacious and there was a lot of storage. It didn't even feel like we were living in an apartment. Shortly after moving in we got our dog Oakley, and the Oaks welcomed him with open arms and anytime we were walking around the community they would say hi and remember who we were. We have lived in many other apartment complexes who would know their residence from complete strangers, so this was a really nice change. A year passed and it was time to either find a different place to live or resign the lease. We decided to resign because we enjoyed living there and they even offered to upgrade our apartment for staying. Our neighbors were friendly and quiet, and the whole community is secure. If we ever had an issue, maintenance would come out and help. Now it wasn't necessarily always the same day, but the community is big and we understood they were busy people. We are approaching year two and so much has changed. We got engaged and would like a second big dog. We realized that an apartment might not be the best for another big dog, so we decided not to resign out lease. Not because we did not like the Oaks, but we just began to outgrow them. We appreciate all of the help we received while we lived there, and appreciate them as our first home in Omaha. So honestly if you are in a bind and don't know what apartment to choose the Oaks are great. It was a short drive to wherever we needed to go and the area is quiet. The Ralston Arena always has something going on, there is a walking trail nearby. Just remember it is a nicer apartment complex, so yeah it may seem "out of your budget", but the apartments are nice, there may be upgrades, the appliances are nice, and the apartment complex is secure. We didn't mind paying more for all of that. We will miss this community.
