The Jackson on Broad is absolutely amazing! The location couldn't be better. When I first moved in here were a few things in the apartment that needed to be fixed. The maintenance team was so helpful and addressed the issues right away.

Our leasing consultant, Asia, wasn't anything short of amazing!! She answered all of my questions so promptly and kept me updated every step of the way, along with being super friendly and understanding. She got our application process started and approved faster than another complex that I had turned in the same day. We were already signing the lease when the other complex finally gave us the results of our application. The inside of the building is quiet and well kept. I can't talk enough about what a great experience we have had so far. We can't wait to move in! Thank you so, so much, Asia!

Do NOT believe these good reviews. I lived in Jackson on Broad and it was a toxic hazard. The company that currently runs it is involved in a class action lawsuit, so that should tell you enough about it upfront. I’ll start with health and biohazards, then work down to typical apartment issues. I and several of my neighbors had BLACK MOLD growing on the ceilings. Because the ceilings are so high, maintenance would come over and shrug saying “My ladders aren’t tall enough.” We had to harass management almost daily to get something done. My upstairs neighbor has an illness that affects her breathing and the mold put her in the hospital. They finally took it seriously, and guess what? They SPRYA PAINTED WHITE PAINT OVER THE MOLD. And it grew back over the mold a month later bc DUH. The second issue is the dirty water that WILL leak through the ceiling almost daily. And I dont mean little drips. A full FLUME of water came through my cieling multiple times, as if there was a fire hose. It destroyed my couch, which had an electric recliner, several pairs of shoes and jackets, as well as wall art and appliances. There was so much water I had to use sheets and even clothing to sop it up because it was too much water for just my towels. They never fixed this, as the issue of “short ladders” got in the way. I told them to call a real plumber, and ofcourse nothing happened. Neighbors would leave trash and items in hallways and nothing would be done about it. They had the nerve to ask us for more money in the year, and we got out of there immediately. I lived on the first floor, and paid way too much for a two bedroom. There was construction next door at the time, so a MASSIVE dumpster was blocking the back exit. Becuase of the dumpster, pests were running rampant. Mice, roaches, silverfish and centipedes. They installed cracked, rough, unfinished concrete in the living room. Constantly sweeping up crumbling concrete. Burn marks in the tubs, and stains all over the walls. Don’t bother if you want peace and quiet, either. The front rooms have no sound proofing (they dont even have screens in the windows- had to install my own) so its full road noise from the front and a ton of drunks pissing and screaming in the alley. People love peeing on this building, idk why. (Jk its cause it’s a toilet). Additionally, the stairs are not well maintained, several of them dip under weight and one of them broke while I was living there. Additionally, you can hear the stairs from the top of the building to the bottom. So any time any of your neighbors uses the stairs, either the front facing set or the back facing set, you will hear every single step, as well as the slam of the front or back door. Additionally, you can hear every single step that your upstairs neighbor makes. It’s not their fault, but its hard to be patient when you have a 7 am shift and your neighbors come home at 3 or 4 in the morning and stomp all the way up their stairs and you hear them coming home and getting ready for bed. Avoid this place at all costs.
