My son and his partner have lived at Landes for about 6 months with 0 complaints, except for the view, but what can you do about that? The apartments with no view are cheaper, so it's a trade off. Kevin, the manager, is super helpful and friendly, and really tries to make everyone happy and feel welcome.

I lived at Landes for two years and only moved out recently because I bought my first home. Of all the apartments that I’ve lived in, Landes was by far the best experience. The office staff are wonderful, always very friendly and responsive to any issues that come up. The apartments have huge windows and quality interior finishes, including a gas stove. There is a washer and dryer in unit, which was a must for me. Also, the sound insulation between units is fantastic, which is really rare in apartments. The location is great for the convenience of walking distance down to to waterfront or up to cap hill. The location is especially ideal if you work at any of the hospitals and want a short walking commute! They are really dog friendly, which was another must for me. My boxer mix fur baby absolutely LOVED the assistant manager Kevin and he always rewarded her with a treat and let her give him puppy kisses. We will honestly miss our time at Landes and the staff and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an apartment in the first hill neighborhood, you won’t regret it!
