Clean and quiet apartments. Office staff are really nice and understanding. This was my first experience living outside of a family members home, the staff were great and patient with all my many many questions. I felt very safe living by myself. Down sides: some tenants struggle to throw trash away and just leave it in the dumpster area and not in the bin (staff cleaned this up regularly).. train next to apartments s on H st (more white noise than anything, I only heard it when outside or my windows were open)..thats all I can think of, and neither of these are the staff/apartment's fault :)

I have had nothing but great experiences at Academy Lane. I have lived here for almost a year, never had any issues with the apartment or facilities whatsoever. For somewhere that is SO close to campus, pet-friendly, and has an excess of amenities, the price is excellent. A lot of prior reviews were before construction was complete I am assuming, as when I moved in everything was remodeled from the actual units to the parking lot itself. Management responds quickly to anything and everything I have had to say, and is more than helpful in all situations. I have no complaints and have not seen any issues with noise, theft, or anything else you see around other complexes in Davis. Neighborhood is very clean and units have inside-facing doors and locked hallways so every opportunity is provided for a safe experience. Very excited to have been fortunate enough to live here during my time in Davis.
