I'm seeking a roommate to share a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment in Pentagon City. The room comfortably fits a bed, dresser, desk and has a nice closet. You have your own bathroom as well. You would be signing on for the remainder of my roommate's lease (room is available to move-in now) who is leaving for a job out-of-state. Our lease is up January 11th and I am hoping that you would be willing to sign on for another year. Rent is $2525 plus utilities. The split cost varies between $1280/month to $1290/ month (summer months tend to be a little pricier and this cost includes our trash fee and water usage) and utilities (cable/internet, power and gas) run about $90 each a month. This is truly a wonderful and convenient place to live. The building is located on top of the Harris Teeter and Bed, Bath & Beyond. We are very close to Pentagon City Mall and the Pentagon City Metro stop (about an 8 minute walk to the metro) as well as numerous restaurants and amenities. Easy commute to both Alexandria and DC. The apartment has granite counter tops, new appliances, washer/dryer in unit, wood floors, and lovely windows with lots of light! I am a 24 year old young professional who works in special events for an art museum in DC. I was born and raised in Georgia and went to undergrad in Texas. I've been in DC for two years and absolutely love it. I generally have to work some nights and weekends on top of a 9-5, but when I am not working I like to go out with friends. I also enjoy staying in and binge watching tv shows. I like to read and cook. I am pretty neat and clean and looking for the same in a roommate. Ideally, I would like someone in their 20's- grad student or employed- and like I mentioned above, I am really looking for someone who could take over the lease as soon as possible and then sign on for another year in January.
