Located steps from great parks - Duboce, Buena Vista, and Alamo Square - 737 Waller enjoys both the Lower Haight and the Divisadero Corridor retail areas for a super central location close to transit. The six-unit building is on a quiet street with a great sense of community. We have free secured bike storage on site, and The Wiggle is a neighborhood amenity. The apartment is a classic Victorian 'railroad' flat with high ceilings, lovely hardwood floors, wonderful built-ins and embossed wallpaper details. The front bedroom has a decorative fireplace, bay window, views of downtown, and is 14 feet by 10.5 feet. This was likely once the parlor. There is an oversized sliding door and the closet area is just outside the space in a niche. The second bedroom is 12 feet by 10.5 feet and has a deep closet with storage shelves. The bathroom has a shower over tub, new vanity and lighting, and the toilet is split into an adjoining small room. The third bedroom is 12 feet by 10.5 feet as well. All bedrooms fit a queen or king bed with room for a desk and have double-pane energy efficient windows. The common living room and kitchen are filled with charming details with modern upgrades. The living room has a built-in surrounding a decorative fireplace on one wall, and tall wainscoting with a plate rail and picture rail around the room. The kitchen has exposed brick from the old chimney, a large pantry, five-burner gas range, Bosch dishwasher, garbage disposal, and is bright with natural light. The kitchen leads out to the rear deck and yard. The full-sized washer and dryer are on the rear porch, and there's a wooden deck surrounded by planting area to enjoy the sunny south facing quiet of outdoor space. We pay for water and garbage. Pro-rated rent and one month's security deposit to move in. Pets ok at no additional cost. Free secured bicycle storage is available on the ground floor. 737 Waller is a rent-controlled apartment.
