Enjoy peace and tranquility in our home in south San Jose. Whether you are working or here for pleasure, San Jose is a central location to visit all that Northern California has to offer. Stay with us in our spacious 4-bedroom house in quiet south San Jose, near the IBM Almaden site, Motorola, Northrop Grumman, and more. We are a short 30-minute drive from Santa Cruz, about an hour north of Monterey, 10 minutes south from downtown San Jose, and 40 minutes south from Palo Alto/Stanford University. You can catch the CalTrain nearby to visit San Francisco (just over an hour on the train). Here you will have your own private room. We have a spacious backyard with a hammock, vegetable garden, BBQ and patio tables. The room comes with a queen sized bed, night stand, desk, dresser drawers and spacious closet. We have extra blankets and towels free for use. With the rental of our room, you will have access to use a shared bathroom as you please. We currently rent out our spare bedrooms, so please expect to make friends along along the way. Sit and relax while watching TV in the living room or cook a lovely hot meal in our spacious kitchen. We supply everything that you would ever need to cook with - pots, pans, dishes, forks, paper towels, napkins, etc. Free Wi-Fi is included with rental of our room. We also have a clothes washer/dryer unit as well as detergent ready for your use when you get here. Our house is close to several public transportation lines all mostly within a 10 minute walk away. The VTA bus system (route 66 and 68 can take you to downtown San Jose or south to Gilroy) stops directly on Santa Teresa and the Light Rail system is near our house (we are within a 10 minute walk from the end of the Santa Teresa light rail line) which can take you up as far as Mountain View or Milpitas. The nearest CalTrain stop is the Blossom Hill stop which is within 5 miles from our house. There are several shops and services nearby, including: grocery stores, dry cleaners, nail salons, gyms, restaurants, fast food restaurants, coffee shops (including Starbucks), gas stations, Jamba Juice, banks (Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Chase) and more. We are within walking distance of the Santa Teresa Kaiser hospital and the Santa Teresa library which host a farmers market every Saturday throughout the year. We'd love to have you here!
