About 6109 62nd Place
I have a semi-private basement in a beautiful, recently renovated (as of 2017) house available for rent in the East Riverdale area. The rent is $1,250/month plus a share of utilities/internet (shared between everyone in the house). I'm ideally looking to rent the space to 1 person. My roommates and I live on the top floor of the house, and the basement is a separate unit. The basement floor has its own entrance, its own kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms, and a bathroom. The house shares a washer and dryer, both in the basement, but it's the only time when my roommates or I will come downstairs. We've also got a great porch, a huge deck, and a nice lawn as well that we all share. I myself am a UMD grad student (hi, I'm Jason!) and a responsible, neat, nice person! I value someone who shares in my desire to keep this a comfortable, clean, relatively quiet, and relaxing space at home. It's a really convenient neighborhood: - For UMD students, there's a UMD shuttle stop at the end of the street (free for students). - UMD is 15 minutes away by car. - It's also a very bikeable location - you can bike along the Northeast branch of the Anacostia straight to UMD. - It's a 5 minute drive (or a 15 walk) to grocery stores, a CVS, a McDonald's. - It's a 10-15 minute drive away from a Whole Foods, a Safeway, a Giant, a weekly farmers' market, and lots of other places!
