I'm moving in with my girlfriend so my room is available for move-in ASAP. Located on Manila ave., just 80 feet off College ave. & a 5 min walk from Rockridge Bart station. Plenty of restaurants, cafés, bars, & shops within a very short walking distance. About the room & the house: The room is a medium size w/ a window & closet. You can get the room FURNISHED with a queen size bed & a dresser for a one time payment of $350, the furniture is relatively new (purchased in the last 6 months). You would share a bathroom w/ the other roommate (female). The house is very spacious w/ a lot of natural light & wall-to-wall carpeting. It has 2 bedrooms (w/ a bathroom in between), a large kitchen, a huge living room & dining room (both w/ bay windows), a laundry room w/ a washer/dryer, & a large backyard w/ a lemon tree. There is an attached long driveway (fits about 3 cars) for parking. About the roommate: You will be living w/ a 27-year-old Israeli female that's very outgoing, fun, & straight-forward. She works in sales in SF & is out of the house a lot, but likes to feel like her house is a home & feel comfortable w/ the person she lives with. She keeps kosher but is comfortable w/ a non-kosher kitchen. About you: Easy-going, friendly, open-minded/flexible, mature, kind, & smoker-friendly. Someone who is looking for more than just a place to sleep, but also to interact & friendship. She is looking for someone she can trust, feel comfortable w/, & be social w/ & relax when she's at home. + if you keep kosher + if you speak Hebrew / are Israeli Logistics: My name is on the lease (ends November)... I'm looking for someone to take over my half of the lease who must be approved by the landlord-- so please have proof of stable income, a good credit score, & all that good responsible stuff. You will be taking over my role as the main tenant, so be prepared to have the PG&E & water bills in your name. The rent is $1200/month + about $150 in utilities. Move-in cost = 1st months' rent + last months' rent + $500 deposit = $2900. If you want the room to come furnished its an additional $350 = $3250 for everything. The lease doesn't allow more than 2 people living in the house, so sorry but no couples. No pets allowed.
