I was living in this building during the transition from Common Living management to Nest DC. The difference has been night and day. Any worries that came with previous management should NOT be of concern. For a short term rental you will be well taken care of. Are you getting what you pay for in terms of the building? Yes. It’s nice, but nothing fancy. WHAT YOURE REALLY PAYING FOR: a kind, helpful management company. They organize cleaning EVERY week, take out the trash for you, and respond to emails within 24 hours (often very quickly.) Kirby, has been extremely helpful and has gone out of her way to assist me a number of times. would recommend bringing some earplugs!

If I could give this property and their management a zero star, I would. The management and their response time is horrible, expect generic responses and a three to six month wait for any follow-up action. Management offers false advertising- like included cleanings, paper products and cleaning products, however you will not see any of these services, despite paying for them. If you have mail or packages delivered, there is a 50/50 chance that they will be stolen. I have seen people wait outside the door until the door opens for randoms to enter the building and then steal most of the packages. Common somehow manages to have all their poor reviews deleted, their management is nothing more than a money grab, a gentrification failure - save your time and money.
