AVA Van Ness is one of the best properties to live in DC. The property is well-maintained on a daily basis. The leasing staff is always friendly, and the concierge staff is professional and courteous. Maintenance required fixing my toilet and sink today, and Yosef was very knowledgeable and quick with repairing the issues. This property is obviously not the newest building in the city, but it offers a clean, safe place to live with great access to food and the Metro.

My wife and I are about to move out after living here for over 3 years. While the building has its issues as others have pointed out, the people working here are incredible. I've never lived anywhere with such caring and professional staff across the board. Special shout out to Rodney and Yoseph, who have both helped us out more times than I can count! We appreciate it! Many of the issues we've had over the years are from other selfish residents, which the building has little control over. They should consider not raising the rent so much, but that is the corporation's fault. We've also never had a single roach in our unit in the entire time we've lived here. Overall, we've liked living here and 99 percent of the reason is the staff - thank you all SO MUCH for everything you've done for us!!
