James and the staff at Palisades as well as the overall quality of the apartment and the maintenance staff have made our stay great- we stayed here for 1 year and only left for work reasons. Palisades is truly a wonderful place to rent if you're looking in the downtown Bethesda area for a pet friendly location, the price to quality ratio is hard to beat here, and the leasing staff really do go above and beyond.

The property manager of Palisades of Bethesda, Richard Lashley is exceptional! The building is beautifully maintained and runs like clockwork. Richard has an uncanny ability to hire the best staff. He has a keen eye for detail and is prompt in handling any issues that arise. It's a wonderful place to live because of his dedication and high standards. Southern Management is lucky to have him.
The staff is outstanding at Palisades, Bethesda! I accidentally locked myself out of my apartment. I left the painting I was carrying next to my door, while I went to get to the key at the concierge desk. When James and I went back, the painting was missing. I was a frantic. James and Elliot both remained calm, professional and tremendously helpful. James checked the floors, spoke with the cleaning staff and sent an email to the residents. Within an hour, the painting was found on another floor. He went above and beyond anything I expected. Thank you!
The customer service at this building is amazing. The team works hard to make sure you feel right at home. I recently had an issue where i was not able to locate my package and christian, one of the morning concierge went above and beyond to make sure i didn't leave upset. She checked the storage, amazon hub, and all around the office.The team provides excellent support and service, especially during a crazy pandemic.

I had a great experiencing living in the Palisades for 2 years. The management always responded quickly and thoroughly. They were always very clear and worked with me to understand the options for my lease, move-out, etc. Front-desk staff were very friendly and quick to help. The maintenance staff was exceptional. Requests were responded to very quickly and any delays were communicated. The shared areas were very clean, and the small gym was an added perk. Overall, I would highly recommended living in this building.
This year, 2021,marks the 5th year of my residence at Palisades Apartments in Bethesda, MD. I have just signed a lease for an additional two years.That by itself speaks to my living/residential experience; especially because I have lived in several major cities: including New York, Rome( Italy), Boston( MA).
Palisades Apts.are extremely well managed. The building itself has a polished, well-kept, and very appealing decor. Their attention to detail is remarkable. The Staff is competent, courteous, and caring, extending from the Management, Maintenance, Housekeeping, to the Parking Garage Attendent. My compliments and Thanks to All,

I loved living at Palisades of Bethesda! The location was great, staff was always helpful and kind, and the building was always well kept. Even when I had to move out of state, Bernard at the front desk went above and beyond by calling and making sure he had my correct forwarding address when I got an important package. Couldn't ask for any better!

I really loved living at the Palisades! I lived there for 2.5 years.
Pros: walking distance to the metro, great restaurants nearby, no issues with pests or noises, helpful and friendly staff, beautiful and inviting lobby, timely responses for maintenance requests.
Cons: I'd just suggest extending notice for the quarterly air filter replacement days more than 24 hours in advance. I lived in a studio and had to leave my unit each time during the teleworking period to allow for social distancing - my boss was always understanding, but this may cause a strain for others working in more inflexible environments. Also, while a Juliet balcony is better than no balcony, it still doesn't allow for much use.
Otherwise, I loved my time at this apartment complex. The apartment managers were also kind enough to work with me when I unexpectedly had to change my move-out date at the last minute. Thanks to the Palisades team for providing such a warm welcome to Bethesda!
