The Space: Our apartment is a stunning bi-level Victorian apartment. As soon as you walk in you are welcomed by plentiful sunlight accentuated by the high ceilings. With a large living room that boasts a working fireplace and gorgeous hardwood floors, it's hard not to be charmed by the elegance of this well designed unit. In other words, it's pretty fly. Important Stuff: The building is conveniently located near the corner of 20th and Spruce in beautiful Rittenhouse Square. I cannot stress how beautiful the street is or how much access this corner has to offer. I have been in Philly for a little over a year and is by far my favorite street to take a stroll. Nearby are two small grocery stores, tons of restaurants, a dog park, and the iconic Rittenhouse Square. The Room: The room being offered is located on the second floor of the apartment which provides a nice, secluded area away from the rest of the apartment. It also includes a private full bathroom, a large closet, hardwood flooring in the room and tile in the bathroom. The Couple: My wife and I are currently searching for a roommate. We are both working professionals and keep regular business hours. Although we're both very active and social people, at home we tend to be pretty laid back and I'm not ashamed when I have a solid day of binge watching House of Cards. Hobbies include running, watching cats scare themselves on YouTube, Minions, singing Frozen songs, squash, working out, going to the shore or visiting a lake, long romantic walks to the bar, food, food, and, more food. The Pups: Our dogs are very well behaved, friendly, and love meeting new people. One of the dogs is a Boston Terrier named Leonidas (Yes, from the movie 300), and the other is a Boston Terrier/Boxer mix named Octavia. They are both approximately 20lbs and fully house trained. The dogs stay crated during the day, so you won't have to deal with them (unless you want to!). P.S. They think they are people. Dollars & Cents: Rent for this room is $1,175 per month.
