850sf 2 bed 2 bath detached home for rent in the heart of Echo Park. This property consists of 3 detached units on a 6200sf lot. The home includes a 250sf private shaded deck area and a 350sf full height storage/utility area below. We gut renovated the home in 2015 and lived there for 10 years. We recently to a different unit on the same property and looking for new tenants. Some highlights: * High end Whirlpool Gold appliances: stove, dishwasher, and French door refrigerator and stacked washer/dryer. * Quartz countertops * Thick insulation and low-e double pane windows keep out noise and maintain the interior temperature. * Very secure property with video intercom, buzz-in gate, security cameras, dusk to dawn lighting around the perimeter, steel doors, Schlage deadbolts, and tempered security windows. We have never had any problems since living here and feel it is a very safe neighborhood but this gives some extra confidence. * 3 separate in-wall 12k BTU combo heat/AC units keep each room at the desired temperature. * Nice Hansgrohe faucets, instant hot tap in the kitchen. * Tasteful finishes throughout - nice flooring, shades, bathroom tile. * Free internet included - all 3 homes share a cable internet connection which we pay for. If you prefer your own, that's fine too. You can get fios or cable here. This home is small, but we built it with a smart open layout that makes it feel bigger. The large storage area means you can keep your bulky stuff downstairs which opens up a lot of space in the house. There's also some limited outdoor storage if you have large items that can stay outside like a motorcycle. It also feels very private. The 3 units each have their own private outdoor area so you won't see your neighbors unless you want to. This is an ultra dog-friendly property. You can gate off the deck and keep them there, or let them roam the property. Because there are no shared walls barking is less of an issue than it would be in an apartment. This home is in the heart of Echo Park, you can actually see the fountain in the park from the front door. It is two blocks north of Sunset. We're around the corner from Bacetti, Canyon Coffee, Gold Room, and all the other awesome spots in the neighborhood. No need to get in your car on weekends. No parking is included. We live across from an elementary school and the parking situation on our block is much better than typical for Echo Park, we also have a permit district coming. Good credit and income are required.
