The main level features a foyer, half bathroom, living room with decorative fireplace, laundry room, and a kitchen that features a gas cooktop, dishwasher, wall oven and microwave, french door fridge, and tons of cabinet space. The second floor offers a large family room with a decorative fireplace, bedroom, and a full bathroom with a tub. On the 3rd floor, there are a 2nd spacious bedroom and the master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with a stand-up shower. --Capitol Hill Features & Amenities-- Capitol Hill is one of the most famous neighborhoods in the entire country. People live on “the Hill” because of its proximity to the seat of government, its easy access to the National Mall, and its increasing array of restaurants, shopping, and cultural offerings. The neighborhood lies within one of the nation’s largest national historic districts, including the U.S. Capitol building, the Senate and House office buildings, the Supreme Court, and the Library of Congress. Most of the neighborhood’s commercial activity is located on Pennsylvania Avenue Southeast and 8th Street Southeast (Barracks Row). At the junction of Pennsylvania Avenue SE and 8th Street SE, Eastern Market is the city’s oldest market and is a fun destination on the weekends. The two largest parks on Capitol Hill are Stanton Park between 4th and 6th Streets at C Street NE and Lincoln Park between 11th and 13th Streets NE at East Capitol Street NE. --Capitol Hill Transportation & Location-- Capitol Hill is serviced by four Metro stops on the orange/blue lines. From west to east, these are Capitol South, Eastern Market, Potomac Avenue, and Stadium-Armory. Several bus lines run through the area, including two DC Circulator routes. Union Station is located at the northwest corner of the neighborhood, which is home to a Metro red line stop and Amtrak, Maryland Area Regional Commuter (MARC), and Virginia Railway Express (VRE) trains. Union Station is also the DC home for Greyhound, Peter Pan, Megabus, and BoltBus bus lines. Interstate 695 runs along the neighborhood's southern edge and provides quick access west to Virginia or east to the Anacostia Freeway (DC Route 295). --Lease Terms-- - 50 application fee required - 1-month security deposit required - Min 12-month lease - Tenant responsible for all utilities (water, gas, and electric) - Pets are not accepted - Tenant is responsible for landscaping - Renters insurance is required
