Large master bedroom available to rent starting September 1. This room also comes with a parking space in our backyard garage. Lease is month to month, but we'd prefer someone who can at least loosely commit to six months or more. About the room: Master bedroom is 224 sq. ft. and has a large walk in closet and bathroom. Any size bed fits easily with plenty of room for dressers, desk, TV & even a couch! Good for someone who likes a lot of space. Private bathroom is a spacious shower set up (no tub) with his and hers sinks. About the House: The common area downstairs is an open layout, with plenty of space for us to have a living room and dining room setup. The kitchen is also fairly spacious. Half bath downstairs. Upstairs are three bedrooms (master and two smaller ones), as well as a bathroom the other two renters share. We have a small back porch and nice sized fenced-in backyard. We also have a small fenced-in front yard. Both yards we share with a couple who live in the separate English basement unit below the two levels we use. Features: Exposed brick. Maple hardwood flooring, eat-in kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. Cooling: Central Air, washer and dryer in unit. Whole house is 2,100 sq. ft. About the roommates: We are two 20-something females who work in DC, one in journalism and the other in nonprofit work. We are open to any gender roommate. No smokers please! I have a dog named Desmond. He is a 6-year-old, 58-lb male lab/houd mix. I also foster dogs frequently (no more than one foster at a time). The dogs have access to the common areas and my bedroom but not the other roommates' bedrooms. My dog and the dogs I foster get along well with other dogs, so it's fine if you have one. No cats (I'm allergic).
