Hello: I am looking for a housemate in a large 2 bedroom apartment. The apt has one bath, large kitchen, pantry, small extra room that can be used for storage. There is no laundry in unit but there is a laundromat a short walk from the apartment. Pets are allowed. The room for rent is unfurnished Rent is $900/month utilities are not included. Utilities are ~ $120 per person in the winter months, and $50 in the summer months. The room is available for a sublet now to 8/31/2016 with an option to extend the lease till 8/31/17. The apartment is located near public transportation (The Jackson Square stop on the orange line and the Heath street stop on the green E-line are both about an 8 minute walk from the apt). There are also several bus lines including the 39, 14 and 66. There is a grocery store (stop and shop) that is about a 5 minute walk from apartment and a whole foods about 15 min walk from the apartment. About me: I'm a chemist in my 30s and I work at BWH. I'm originally from Kenya but have lived in Massachusetts for ~14 years; I have lived at the current apartment for a little over 2 years. I'm easy going, clean, low key.
