This recently remodeled single-level house on famously Tchoupitoulas Street offers high ceilings, hardwood floors, and amazing architectural details unique to New Orleans. This house features a beautiful open-plan living and dining room area, combining modern amenities with historic architectural details. The brand-new kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances. The spacious bedrooms feature custom-made furniture, and the fully upgraded bathrooms come with needed essentials. Enjoy continuous hot water for showers from a tankless water heater, central air and heat, and ceiling fans throughout. There is also an on-site laundry room. Daily housekeeping services are available upon request. A high chair and Pack ’n Play are available upon request. Pets are limited to cats, caged birds, and non-aggressive breeds of dogs (aggressive breeds include Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, Siberian Husky, Akita, Bulldogs, German Shephard, and Bull terrier) with a maximum of 2 pets per property. Guests are responsible for all damages to property and people which may be caused by the pet. The maximum size of the pet is 50 lbs. For one pet guests should pay a $125 pet cleaning fee plus tax, and for 2 pets, the total is $195 plus tax. Pets inside the properties must be kept clean and sanitary all the time. The guest should inform about pets right after the reservation. Pets must be kept on a leash under the guest’s supervision while outside the premises and must only be walked in designated pet areas. A “Pet Shovel” or the equivalent must be used at all times to remove pet waste from the property. Famous late-night bars such as Tipitina’s, F&M’s, and Le Bon Ton are all within walking distance, as are countless restaurants and shops. The house is also located near Magazine St and Uptown, a short ride to the famous French Quarter and Bourbon St, and close to Audubon Park and Tulane University, Mississippi River Heritage Park, The National WWII Museum, and Big Easy Bach. Smoking is prohibited in the house, as well as the balcony, and any violation of the smoking policy will incur a $250 fine plus the cleaning costs necessary to remove smoke odors from the house and/or linens. Quiet hours are observed from 9 pm to 8 am, and violators will be charged a $200 fine. House parties and illegal substances are strictly prohibited and grounds for immediate eviction, and violators will be charged a $500 fine. Any violation of the pet policy will incur up to a $500 fine, plus the cost to recover or clean the property. Gatherings of more than 8 people including both overnight guests and visitors are not allowed and may be subject to eviction. Extra guests and visitors are not permitted without management consent. The number of overnight guests cannot exceed the maximum occupancy. Local resident restrictions apply, and guests residing within a 100-mile radius are required to contact the host before booking. For same-day late check-ins, you need to get the host's approval before booking.
