The apartment is just a 10-minute walk to the nearest METRO Subway station at Shaw station on the GRN/YLW Lines or a 15-minute walk to NoMa-Gallaudet station on the Red Line. It's less than 1 mile to Walter E. Washington Convention Center and only 5 minutes by car to downtown Washington DC. The neighborhood is safe and kid- and family-friendly, with Capital Bikeshare Station and bus stops within walking distance. Smoking or vaping inside the apartment is strictly prohibited, and failure to abide will result in a fine of $500 or more, based on the severity of the violation and/or cleanup required. Please be courteous to the adjacent neighbors and the tenants living around and above you at all times by keeping noise volumes to a reasonable level. From 10 PM to 8 AM, adhere to very strict quiet hours when noise is to be kept at an absolute minimum. Do not flush anything other than toilet paper.
