Hello! My boyfriend and I are moving out of our private room/private bathroom in a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment. Rent is $1325 ($1400 if you have a dog/cat) for our half, and that includes everything except electric & WiFi, which will be taken care of with the other roommates! It will be available for move-in July 29th! Single people or couples welcome, pets welcome as well! About the community: This 2 bed/2 bath is located in Eight 80 Newport Beach, right on the line of Newport & Costa Mesa! It has 2 large swimming pools with cabanas, multiple jacuzzis, a million BBQ areas, a dog park, tennis courts, ping pong, basketball courts, and 2 gigantic gyms (with weight machines & dumbbells too) (one is open 24 hours)! There’s a laundry facility and a trash room in each building of the complex, making it super convenient. Ours is just down the hall. It’s walking distance from 17th St, which features numerous choices of restaurants, bars, and shopping. Also, it’s about a 20-min bike to the beach! It’s right across from a school, so it’s in a great area. We’ve lived here for over 2 years now, and I always feel safe! About the apartment: Our apartment is on the 1st floor (perfect for groceries & furniture moving), and a corner unit, which means a huge patio! It looks out onto 16th St, where the football field of the high school is! We just got the carpet replaced literally 1 week ago, so that’s brand new. The room is a very large bedroom with plenty of storage & 2 closets. Your bathroom is inside of your bedroom, so it’s completely private! Included in the rent is 1 open parking spot in the parking decks they have here. If you have more than 1 vehicle like we do, there’s usually plenty of street parking right in front of the complex! You can purchase an extra space inside the complex for $100 a month, you could work that out with the office after move-in! About the roommates: The roomies you’ll be living with are a couple in their early 20’s! One’s an artist & one’s a manager at a pizza place. They don’t have any animals, but love animals! They’re 420 friendly and smoke occasionally on the patio, but never inside. They keep to themselves in their room most of the time (sometimes we’ll go days without seeing them), but are super friendly when you do see them! They’re big gamers, so they have that whole set-up in their room! They’re pretty quiet, but are totally fine with you having people over. We have a group chat with them just to talk about everything in the apartment, so I’m sure you guys will have the same! We’re asking for a deposit of $350, this is only to pay for your application fee and the new lease agreement that will be made with your name on it. No one is profiting off of this deposit! This is also just to let us know you’re serious about moving in, so we can stop looking! When I first occupied the unit, I paid a $600 deposit. When you guys choose to move out, that will be split between you & the current roomies from the complex, so you’ll get it back anyways! We can show the apartment at pretty much anytime, there’s usually at least one of us home! Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions, or if you’re interested!
