5 stars, but for the specific leasing specialist I spoke to. Overall I am not happy with Park 57 and would not recommend it to anyone unless they plan on staying throughout their non-adjustable lease. I’m with Park 57, but spoke to Nix who works at Moon City Lofts (I am so sorry if I misspelled her name) at the beginning of November about ending my lease early because I got a job offer in Tampa that I can’t refuse. She was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the whole process and walked me through every step of the way. She advised me that I would be prorated for the rent in my last month AND would have ample time of 90 days to pay the early termination fee (which, the early termination fee is absolutely absurd). A month passed and this morning I received an email from Park 57. In the email, it said I owed an entire month of rent instead of being prorated AND that I had 10 days to pay $2,600 before Entrust would take legal action. I immediately called Moon City to get in contact with Nix and find out what’s going on. She answered immediately and helped me throughout the entire process. Neither of us are sure what happened, but I wasn’t prorated for my final months rent when I issued my early move out notice in November. She resolved the issue immediately. Additionally, she advised me that the 10 days to pay portion of the email was just an automated response, and didn’t apply to my situation because I was moving out early. Overall, I’m not entirely happy with my apartment. It never felt like home, constant issues with packages being delivered, absolutely absurd fees for ending a lease early, and a near constant state of dirt and mud in the halls and stair ways. However, Nix was incredibly empathetic and helpful with my stressful situation. She was amazing and took so much weight off of my shoulders.

We have been living here for a month now and it is wonderful it’s quiet and so nice and homey! Brandi made the whole process of moving in absolutely wonderful and so easy. She takes her job very seriously and wants everyone to feel at home! Maintenance is always so responsive and get problems fixed asap and when I’ve seen the maintenance tech Dwight he’s always in a good mood and so nice and funny! We love it here and feel right at home! Updating this review since I’ve been here almost a year now! This has been a wonderful place to live, Brandi has since left and Brittany has now taken her spot she just like Brandi has been very responsive to any needs I have had. The complex is very quiet and homey, everyone picks up there pet droppings, internet has been great for me, maintenance has continued you to be great, management has worked with very well. Overall the only cons I have found in the place is lack of cabinet space (the shelves just don’t do it for me😂), the water in the shower doesn’t last very long, and due to the fact there isn’t central air the bathroom and kitchen can get quite hot when cooking or while getting ready. Everyplace has there cons and i’ve adapted to the once here and found solutions! I’d rather have great management and a good neighborhood within the complex then fuss to much over the very few cons!

Just finished family weekend and my step daughters car was almost towed away from this lot. Management had them tow cars on family weekend. She parks there every day. What kind of business are they trying to run. Paid a $75 drop fee and the tow company they hired was rude and disrespectful. I would expect much better management from walnut quads being affiliated with Missouri State University. Very disappointing that family weekend had to end on a bad note.
