Milan Apartments are a true hidden gem! I originally found them because I was looking for a place that was close to downtown for PSU & that accepted my dogs (3 at the time). We lived in a 2 bedroom for just a year but we loved our entire stay. What really made this place great was Kim Reed - our apartment manager! We were so lucky to have her as it was our first time renting a place. She really made such a difference from the start. A manager that went above and beyond when it came to maintenance requests, any sort of small inconvenience we experienced, taking into account suggestions, and beautifying the property with flowers, paint etc. We could of afforded a different place but she made the difference for us. The apartment themselves have very cute kitchens, nice green areas and two convenient laundry facilities. The doggy park was always up kept as well as the overall grounds. We never had an issue with parking or someone taking our spot. We also loved that it was walking distance to Albertsons and on the bus line. Since these apartments are tucked away in a neighborhood we felt safe and enjoyed walking our dogs through the trails around there. Had we not moved out of state we would of stayed there. It is such a cozy community. We also never heard our neighbors on the sides because of the cinder block so that was also a plus. As long as Kim is there rest assured these apartments are going to be the best in the area!

The on-site manager, Kim, is genuinely the best. She's responsive, helpful, and caring, and is constantly looking out for the residents. Maintenance people are also great. The apartment itself is small and bare-bones (the only real amenity is a small dog park), but it's also a convenient location and cheaper than most similar units in the area--and no pet rent, it's very pet-friendly here. It works well for us.
