Love a new building!! It's always so great when you're one of the first tenants to occupy a unit knowing that it hasn't had extensive use - and that every thing is fresh just for me! Fresh paint, appliances, everything. Also the agent who helped me was really really nice.

I lived at the Vale for my first year in Philadelphia after I moved here from the Midwest. The building had just opened a few weeks before I moved in. Overall, everything was great. My apartment was well-appointed and was on the corner, with a little bit of a view of the Center City skyline in the fall and winter when the leaves fell. The roof was really nice, especially once the Vale added the furniture, and I especially loved the Center City view from the roof. The location was perfect... Midvale is a quieter street and the train to Center City was only a block away, plus it was convenient to be right next to a Rite Aid and also close to the Wissahickon, which became one of my favorite spots. I never heard much noise from the neighbors but it could have been because I was on the corner. Sometimes things took a little longer to get resolved, but Joe was particularly responsive and helpful throughout the year I was there and always took good care of me. Overall, the Vale was a very comfortable place to live and definitely felt like home in no time after I moved in.
