We lived here for about a year and a half. Overall, we had a great experience. I’ll try to be as fair and objective as possible – hopefully management and future residents find it useful: Pros: - Priced very reasonably for the area and what the apartment complex has to offer (9’ deep pool, Proximity to the T, shopping, beach, etc.). Our rent was raised upon renewal but knowing the market conditions it was expected – it’s just the nature of renting. Heat and hot water included in the rent is a big deal during the winter months. - The leasing office staff is above and beyond. I mostly interacted with Gloria and she always communicated in a timely and professional manner. I’m especially grateful for the flexibility she demonstrated upon our move-out. - Maintenance is prompt, fast, and professional. We had 3 maintenance issues during our stay and all of them were addressed the next day, including changing a broken dishwasher. - The apartments have very good layout and feel more spacious than they actually are. Lots of storage and we loved the huge windows! They pay special attention to landscaping, making it nice to walk around or just look out of your window. Snow removal is also fast and efficient! - The package room worked well for us, we never lost any packages. Cons: - I was hesitant to rent here at first due to the bad reviews, especially around pests. I can say our apartment was prepped before moving in (As much as I can tell they filled baseboard crevices with foam and steel mesh) and have not experienced any mice issues. They also have a pest control company doing preventive treatments of the units and address any active pest issues upon request. It seems like they’re doing everything they can from a management perspective to address all pest concerns. - I think the apartments don’t have ducted hood vents for the range and sometimes cooking smells linger in the hallways. - There are a lot of kids in the community. I found them to be very respectful but kids being kids there’s a lot of noise in the hallways as they’re running around playing. This bothered me less, I understand what apartment living entails. I found it annoying however, they’re using the parking lot as a playground, running around cars, sometimes leaning against them with the potential to scratch them. If you have a nicer car and you take pride in the way it looks, this may be a concern. For the record our cars never got scratched but the possibility was there. I suggest finding a parking spot further away from the entrance and walking a little bit more.
