The maintenance crew is fantastic. Prompt friendly, and always do the job so well. That said the administration office not so good not responsive. A quick addition to my earlier review. Yesterday, July 12, my A/C went out and I requested service. Within hours the maintenance team was on it. They replaced a part and it was back up and running. Excellent service!!

I had an emergency with my refrigerator not working. I placed an order at around 9 pm and the Maintainence team- Orlando and Alex were at the door less than 15 mins. They replaced the refrigerator with a new one. Hats off to both of them for their hard work and professionalism. Great job guys 🙌 Thank you!

Okay "let's talk about it" Villa Veneto is a multi-apartment complex That is nestled near the very end of a street called La Strada Drive and next to a neighborhood community. It is near a shopping center off Cottle Road. Restaurants like Panda Express, Chipotle, Applebee's, Safeway grocery store and gas station which host some of the lowest gas prices in this area. The schools are also pretty good. They are Bernal Middle School and Santa Teresa High School. It's not far from Oak Ridge Mall on Blossom Hill. It's also close to walking trails, And it's fairly close to the Almaden Lake Park, which hosts a firecracker show every year. And close to Kaiser Permanent Hospital in case of 911 type of emergencies. So that takes care of all of the surrounding benefits of the property. Now for the review of the property itself. The property is run by a company called Essex Properties. And there are three particular apartments in a row, all run by this company. The one I'm going to talk about is Villa. There's a bottom unit and a second-story unit. Which I find comfortable because it doesn't go up to like five stories and things like that. The doors open to the outside environment, so it's not an indoor hallway type of thing. There are automatic gates, which is comforting, especially towards the later part of the day into the late hours of the night. The pool is nice the workout room is also nice. Now visiting parking is a little constrained. Everyone has to park on the outside of those gates. And a lot of the time, a lot of those spaces are taken by residents also, so first come, first serve on that. But as far as being a resident, you get a personal garage with a garage opener, and that's very nice. And there is inside gate parking for residents only! Which is first come, first serve, not assigned. I saw a floorplan for a two-bedroom and a 3 bedroom, and both have electric fireplaces, which gives an aesthetic that is quite illuminating in the winter months. You do have a nice-sized patio and a full-size washer and dryer that comes with the unit, and the office staff is friendly, especially Robin, who is the property manager, Brianna, Destiny, and Leslie. It can be a little challenging since the leasing office is closed to the public; basically, you cannot just walk in. It's all done basically through email and telephone calls. But the creme de la creme of the apartment complex for Villa is the maintenance crew! No matter where I have lived I always say that maintenance is the heart of any property. And you have some bad maintenance and some good and then there are great ones. Well, the maintenance crew for Villa is great! You get to know them by name. My particular maintenance person, for example, is Alex; he does a marvelous job, an absolutely marvelous job, with each work order that I have to place. They/he can work within the time frame that I am available. He gets the job done, and he's professional. And considerate of my disabilities. I haven't had to have one thing redone after it was done the first time with Alex and Orlando, who's another maintenance man who is great at his job. And the thing about having an apartment community where it's not super large; you can see the outer workings and the inner workings if you know what I mean for example coming into the property and going out of the property through the gates you always see your maintenance man go-karts on the route to somewhere or either doing a job so they're never really idle. And to me, that's what makes a property worth it. You see your office management for balances and questions which are few and far between. But I have to say that even though it is a closed office. My emails get answered fairly quickly, about a day, if not that same day. Still, you always interact and you see maintenance. And I've been with this particular property for 2 years. So I like to think I know what I'm talking about. So I'll come back and ask some photos later. Before right now I hope you enjoyed the review.
