Very clean and quiet. The employees are great and helpful. Love that you can have your dog with you. It's the center of where all of our business was,very convenient.

The accommodations were nice and the property is very clean. The staff is excellent even though we had a hiccup where we were supposed to have a balcony and ended up with a one bedroom on the first floor. This problem was never resolved, but it did not ruin our stay and again the staff is some of the best we have had.

We stayed at Waterwalk in Overland Park Kansas for two nights while visiting family in the area.||The location is good with easy access to highways and plenty of things to do and places to eat nearby. ||Staff was friendly.||Check in was easy.||Building was secure.||We travel with our small dog and this is a dog friendly place. ||The space in the room was adequate but not large by any means. ||We however were able to comfortably fit myself, my husband, my daughter, and two step sons to watch a football game in the living / dining area. ||The kitchenette provided a full size fridge, dishwasher, stove and all the necessary basic cooking items. Make sure your ice maker is turned to the ON position if you will want ice as ours had been shut off. ||There were two bottles of water in the fridge upon our arrival which was nice. ||Under the sick was everything you need for doing dishes and a few loads of laundry. We stayed in room 1118 and the washer and dryer were very high quality and like new and while we did not use them they should could come in handy for a longer stay. ||The washer and dryer were in the rather large bathroom. The bathroom had great water pressure! Loved it. Plenty of drawers in sink cabinet to store bath items. ||Bedroom was large enough and had ample closet and storage space. Bed was super comfortable! If curious, the bed is on the sofer side but not sinking in the middle or sides soft. We both slept really well. ||Another plus of the bedroom is there was a nightstand table on BOTH sides so we each had a place to charge phones, place our nighttime water cups etc. ||There is a TV in both the bedroom and living area. ||In the lobby area there is a really nice coffee machine that makes all sorts of coffee drinks, as well as hot chocolates, and flavor boosts. We tried over 15 combinations in the two days we were there. LOL we were obsessed with that machine! Bagged teas were also provided. ||The coffee maker in room was a real coffee maker, not a pod style one - thankfully! | |There is no food service in the hotel but plenty of great places near by or you can cook in your room.||The downsides were minimal but there are always some no matter where you stay. ||The door between living area and bedroom did not want to stay open on its own so we had a place a shoe on the floor as a door stopper. ||The spoon rest on the stove was oily but was an easy miss for the cleaning staff as it was barely noticable to me.||There was a blanket on the sofa, not sure if someone before us left it behind or if it was provided to use by the hotel but it could have used a wash. I put it with the dirty towles when we left as a signal to staff. ||There was one light in the bedroom lamp that flickered so I switched the bulb out with one in the living area lamp.||Lastly, the cabinet door in n the bathroom under sink was starting to come off and probably just needed some screws tightened. ||These things seem numerous but none of them are horrible or deal breakers. ||There is a lovey courtyard between the residential building and hotel building with a giant firepit, picnic tables, and a walkway for use which was quite pleasant to spend some time outside. ||This place also allows you to use all apartment amenities such as the gym although we did not check that out this time. ||We will stay again for a great location, comfortable stay, and pet friendly place. ||
