Loved living at Rasa! We lived here for four years, 2020-2024. Great amenities (on-site gym, rooftop deck, work space, party room, en suite washer dryer, dishwasher... basically everything I could ever want!), but much more importantly, really nice light-filled apartment, with great views. Really convenient, comfortable, modern living. Management was very responsive.
I moved into Rasa apartments April 2022 and from day one it has been a great experience. They were very easy to communicate with, very upfront with what was needed, and made sure my transition into the building was quick and easy. The complex’s amenities are very useful and easy to access. Nice weight room that is really private and safe. Office room where you can print and have a quiet place to work. A movie room, and the roof top with an amazing view which is probably my favorite. The building itself is very clean and well taken care of. The leasing office was always very polite and helpful when needed. Whenever I had an issue with anything in my apartment they made sure it was taken care of as fast as possible. Would definitely recommend!
I have been a resident at Rasa Apartments for three years, and I have had a very good experience living here. I really enjoyed having a very beautiful and modern apartment. My husband has a disability, and the building (and the neighborhood) was very accessible, with a grocery nearby, and an elevator. The management helped us make all adjustments that we needed, and it was very helpful.

Rasa has been home to my husband and I for more than a year now. We love being in a busy area that is in the heart of uptown Oakland and also in a more safer pocket of Oakland. It’s a walkable area with many awesome places at stones throw from the building, be it coffee, cocktails, bakeries, great food, and not to forget Lake Merritt!
Apart from the brilliant location, the building amenities are really nice with a clean gym, a quiet work space with free printing credits every month, an indoor hangout spot, a lovely rooftop that offers beautiful views spanning from Berkeley to SF. The rooftop also has a nice seating area with a fire pit and barbecue grills. Both indoor common area and the rooftop are open for friends and family.
We’ve had a great time here and being on the 6th floor, we’re truly rewarded with lovely views!
My review is not from a current tenant POV but from a prospective tenant. It was a hard decision but we ultimately decided not to go with Rasa.
My experience working with Nesi at Rasa Apartments was nothing short of amazing. My wife and I have toured about 8 other properties in downtown Oakland and she was by far the best agent we’ve dealt with. From the tours when we initially met her, all the way up until the application process, her communication was both helpful and extremely fast. I never had to call multiple times or send follow up emails as she would answer my calls or return my emails same day and sometimes only an hour after.
Again, ultimately my wife and I decided to stay at our current property since they gave us a great deal and moving units would be extremely convenient for us given that we have a young daughter. If it weren’t for that, I would definitely choose Rasa even just for the level of service I received from Nesi.

Overall, Rasa provides an unbeatable living experience in Oakland, combining luxury, convenience, and modernity seamlessly. I am relocating out of Oakland unfortunately.

This place is beautiful! Lots of amenities inside and within the community. The rooftop was my favorite hang out spot to get a breath of fresh air and view the city. My kids favorite areas were the theater room or gym. Definitely recommended if you want access to all the great food and events in the downtown Oakland area! My family and I will miss this place!

I moved into Rasa a year ago from Atlanta. I didn’t know anything about the Bay Area & wanted to find somewhere downtown for convenience. Everyone in the leasing office was extremely nice & made me feel comfortable. Alexandria got me approved very quickly to move in which made the transition for me very smooth. I didn’t have a car, so staying here was easy for me to get to work since BART is only a few minutes away. There are tons of restaurants/bars & grocery stores nearby. I’d often go to lake Merritt which you can get to within a few minutes. The actual apartment was nicely designed & they have a cleaning company clean the common areas daily. Security is on-site patrolling at night which made me feel safe. Overall I enjoyed my stay & definitely would’ve renewed my lease if I wasn’t moving back home.
