I loved being a resident here. The community was always clean, I felt safe, and the people were all so kind. Being in the middle of everything and having back door access to the rail trail is something I took for granted before moving to a new complex. The garage was secure and all doors remained locked so only people with access could get in. Any problems I had the leasing office was quick to respond and always super nice. Maintenance requests were taken care of almost immediately. This is an amazing community and I highly recommend living here if you don’t mind the price tag.
If you are interested, I recommend scheduling a tour with Olivia. She was really sweet and informative. One time I was in the pool and my feet suddenly couldn’t reach the floor but luckily she was there to lend a helping hand. I love it here!!
Update 1 year later.
This place was a breeze to live in. In some communities, management tries to be overbearing with rules etc. This place gets it. It was easy living in a busy area. Couldnt have asked for a better place to live. Stephanie at the front office was perfect to work with.

Just moved in (4th person I think) and the staff has been awesome even through some quirks of being in a brand new building! The apartments are larger than most and very nice. Even left a great welcoming gift upon move in! Highly recommend!

I loved living at the Maddox! The apartment complex is so clean, the amenities are top notch and more importantly management team is SO friendly and helpful. You can tell they truly care about the people who live there and their experience. We have never had issues with noisy neighbors and if anything in the apartment needs fixed maintenance is quick to turn it around. I highly recommend the Maddox its in a great location and you will find yourself making friends!

The apartment complex is exceptionally well-maintained, with clean and modern facilities. The amenities, such as the gym and pool area, are always kept in excellent condition!
One thing that stood out to me was the responsiveness of the management team. Any maintenance issues were promptly addressed, and the staff always went above and beyond to ensure that residents' needs were met.
I have truly enjoyed my time living in Maddox. The convenient location, coupled with the welcoming community atmosphere, has made it feel like home. I would highly recommend to anyone in search of a great place to live.
I have to start my review by saying that Maddox South End is by far the BEST apartment complex in all of Charlotte! Their friendly management and leasing staff—Rachel, Kaitlyn, Olivia, and Jamika, do an amazing job of ensuring excellence and 100% satisfaction for all their residents. If I ever have any issues, their team promptly addresses my concerns. When I first toured Maddox, their amazing leasing agent, Olivia, went above and beyond in showing me the amazing perks of their apartment complex. She thoroughly answered all my questions and provided the best customer service experience I’ve ever encountered. For instance, when I was videotaping part of my tour, my clumsy self accidentally dropped my phone down the garbage chute. Olivia didn’t hesitate at all; she immediately ran downstairs and dug through all the trash until my phone was recovered. If that doesn’t scream optimal customer service, I don’t know what does! Maddox South End checks all my boxes: great pricing, excellent amenities, a pet-friendly environment, a clean and tidy property, and a fantastic staff. If you’re looking for a wonderful place to call home, look no further than Maddox South End!
Amazing experience. I had the most wonderful and splendid interaction with this one girl… I think her name was Olivia. She was beyond helpful and I love her pure joy and happiness when speaking about Maddox’s ammenities. She even made the (only) 3.5 ft pool sound like a good idea. I will say the exceptional view (west side) could be worth the rent itself.
Being my first apartment/first impression upon moving to Charlotte, Maddox and the staff were so welcoming and provided me a seamless transition to the area and a wonderful place to live. The layout and space of my one bedroom apartment allowed for a comfortable living area for myself and my pet. The leasing staff were always happy to help me with a questions I had or things that needed attention. The maintenance staff were also very prompt and helpful as well. Located in bustling South End, Maddox allowed me to be immersed in a community where everything is very accessible and there are so many things to do and explore. If you’re looking for amenities that compete with the best, Maddox offers many that elevate the living experience. I can’t speak highly enough of my time living at Maddox and the relationships I built there. It is definitely a wonderful place to consider when searching for an apartment you can call home!
