I lived at The Loden for just about three years and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. The management handoff through COVID was rough, but they rebounded quite well. In my experience, they were always quick to respond and help remedy any situation and if they didn't, they took ownership of the fault. If you had an issue or needed some assistance, they were flexible. I thought the rent rates were reasonable for Edina and the quality of the building was exceptional. Over the course of three years, we only heard our neighbors (loudly) a handful of times. The pool would get crowded and noisy at times during the Summer, but I'd bet that you would find that in any shared community space in any apartment complex in the metro. Unless you have a better solution, requesting that they monitor pool guests 24/7 is delusional and would be too much for the staff to handle. The location is difficult to beat. You're close to all major highways and still located in a quiet area surrounded by highly sought after communities. Unless something drastically changes, I'd suggest living at The Loden to anyone that reaches out.

We lived here for almost 4 years. Through original management and new. The unit itself was super nice, very modern and felt big even for a one bed. Pros - new construction keyless entry very secured access to building, right on the highway. Dog and cat friendly, huge windows for maximum sunlight. Quick maintenance team. In unit ac and heat. Very fair cleaning fees / repair fees for mounted tvs etc when moving out. Big underground garage very nice to avoid the Minnesota weather. Good sized dog play area out back. Excellence landscaping team that kept it all pretty. Cons- rent a bit expensive, but that fits the market for the amenities this building has. Neighbors could be a bit rowdy without consequences it seemed. ELEVATOR liked to stop working for weeks end, it seemed to be a mystery as the power company would come out and then the elevator company would come out. Eventually it would be fixed and then stop working the next week. The building had 3 elevators, the main 2 always worked. The one on our side of the building was the finicky elevator. People complained a lot during Covid times, but I think the property management did an adequate job during this time. Parking garage had no cameras at the time we lived there, and there were a few break ins. The garage door also broke down but they did have a security guard monitoring it so we could still get in. Assigned out door parking would often have random guests in our spot, and management should’ve towed them. In my opinion when there are multiple signs posted that those spots are reserved, you should be towed. This almost never happened when someone was in our spot. I want to shout out the maintenance guys, and the manager Katie (sorry if I messed up the spelling) they were always friendly and on top of any issues we had. We would probably still be there if we didn’t move states. Besides my gripes, I will leave a 5 star because of the people and the quality of the building over all. I’ve had / heard of much worse experiences with apartments, and we were sad to go.
