It's advertised as "modern luxury apartments"- but the experience of living here has been anything as such. New building- but one of those rushed poor construction jobs as there are numerous issues in the buildings and in individual apartments. Quite frankly the 2 stars are only because the building itself is "new". This is the poorest incompetent management I have ever dealt with in any company, both in the executive/administrative office and in maintenance. The only consistent thing of this building, and I have to give him is props is Leonard the porter, he IS AMAZING! Always here, always attentive always keeping the beautification of the building on par. My story: After receiving not only first months rent, but an additional two month's security deposit, i discovered that my unit was not ready as indicated in my lease and was actually a rushed construction job. On my move in day the leasing agent/assistant property manager/administrative (yes this person has 3 titles on the website) was 45 minutes late to bringing my key. And then did a mediocre walk through of the apartment. Upon my own walk thru I discovered the following issues: -Defected washer (i currently do not have a washer in my unit, no one checked to make sure the washer actually worked) -Broken window (fire code violation)- I can't open my window -unfinished caulking underneath the counter tops - buckling of my floors -dishwasher was not even properly installed and almost fell over when i attempted to test it -none of the buttons are sealed in the kitchen or bathroom. Unfinished screws on the door, - water cap still exposed -I cannot receive cable in my apartment because none of the cable outlets are receiving a signal (the management as used the excuse that it's Verizon fault, yet has made no progress in fixing it. as of November 1st none of the above items have been remedied or fixed. I've had these work orders since October 1st and even was assured by the property manager it would be fixed 2 weeks ago. Moreover the basement floor is still torn up like it looks like a construction zone, they still have not completed from the first flooring job which there was major buckling- that buckling is also in my unit. Not to mention they have arbitrarily changed their advertised use of "amenities" and did not formally inform tenants. They want to charge tenants $125 an hour to reserve the social lounge space! So don't get drawn in by those spaces folks because you gotta pay to use them apparently! I'm waiting for when they are going to start charging tenants a monthly gym membership in order to use the fitness room. AND after repeated attempts to get someone from management to confirm my request to have my November rent waived for the number of violations to my lease- I still have not received any word. Yet the company was so quick to receive 2 months of security deposit prior to my move in. Poor management, major headaches, no system. Not worth it.
