After applying to many apartments, Bluestone was the first company to respond to my email and schedule a tour with me. M'Lissa was super sweet, showed me multiple units and was upfront about price and apartment expectations. She was also very patient during my application process. It's an older building, so the rooms are larger, the walls are thicker, and some details show age. This is away from the popular "open concept" style as the floorplan provides clear differentiation between kitchen/livingroom/breakfast nook. Appliances are updated and clean but still set into old counters and molding- so it's wood not particle board. This is my preference, I avoided modern complexes because I don't like paying for pools and gyms I won't ever use. There is ample parking within the center of the property which provides security for my car. If you are looking for long-term lodging and want to feel at home in your apartment, I would recommend giving this place a chance.
