After having lived four years at Royal Belmont, I thought I owe a couple words of gratitude here. We very much enjoyed our life at Royal Belmont! The office team has always been courteous, polite, professional, and attentive to our needs. The maintenance team promptly resolved our issues including several major repairs on appliances. Common areas are very well maintained by super hard-working people. We will forever miss the privilege of living next to Route 2, Minuteman, fresh pond, spy pond, Alewife reservation, Joyce park, Harvard Sq...Goodbye, Royal Belmont!
We lived at the Royal Belmont for a year and are are only moving out because we bought a house. We have loved living here and recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and modern apartment near the red line. Our leasing agent Anthony gave us a great initial tour, helped us get the best rate possible for our unit, and was always responsive, courteous, and helpful when we had questions or minor maintenance requests (which were attended to promptly by the great maintenance team!). The nature reserves and Little Pond nearby provide lovely views and walks with lots of wildlife, and the proximity to Alewife station, Fresh Pond mall shopping, and highway 2 were great for us. We picked a fourth floor loft unit with a nature view, which was well worth it. The top floor is quiet with minimal noise from next door neighbors. The gym is clean and well outfitted, so we used it often. The only minor complaints I would have are that the elevators are pretty slow, and the trash/recycle dumpsters aren't always clearly labeled and sometimes one garage has 2 trash and no recycle, or vice versa, so that was not always convenient. But, those are so small compared to all the benefits and comforts of living here. I definitely recommend giving the Royal Belmont a visit!

We lived at the Royal Belmont for over a year and loved our time there! From the start, Anthony was absolutely incredible. He was communicative and knowledgeable, and answered constant questions from me - a very high maintenance question asker! He found us the exact unit we were hoping for and was as helpful and responsive as he was that first day until the day we moved out.
Before we moved in, they let us know that the tenants before us had damaged the apartment and major renovations needed to happen. The office and maintenance teams worked with us to make sure we could still move in during our time frame, while helping us fix any issues we uncovered as we settled in during the first few weeks. They went ABOVE AND BEYOND every single time. Mickey is a national treasure. Not only is he smart and skilled, but he is kind and funny and takes time to really get to know the residents. He brings a sense of community to the RB that truly makes the place feel like home.
Madison in the office is also wonderful - she took the time to meet with us when we first moved in, to make sure all the damage from the previous residents was taken care of quickly, and to get to know us. She is approachable and understanding and was always responsive to our questions.
We had lived around the corner at the Windsor property before moving to the RB, and found it to be cold and standoffish. When we moved to the RB, we hoped for a better experience; what we found exceeded our expectations. We knew our neighbors and their pets. People stop to chat and smile in passing or strike up a conversation in the community dog park. Our puppy would see Mickey across the street and bark and wag her tail until he came over to say hello - they all knew her by name. The sense of community was truly more than we'd hoped for and we were honestly sad to move away.
In ANY apartment style living you're going to have issues - some noise from the neighbor upstairs who has grandchildren come to visit. Full trash bins after long weekends. Broken washers or clogged drains. The difference is that the team at the Royal Belmont actually care about their residents and address problems quickly. I always felt safe and confident in our living space.
If you're shopping around the Alewife area save yourself some time and start with the Royal Belmont. We researched them all (and even tried the Windsor) and hands down the Royal Belmont is the way to go. Anthony, Madison, Mickey, and crew - you are the best!!!

The Royal Belmont management team made me fill right at home the minute I walked through their doors, who doesn't like feeling wanted.?? I'm very impressed with the building also.

Chris is the best property manager I have met. The Royal Belmont is really royal and makes you feel out of the city but still so much close to it.

Jake from the leasing office has been excellent. His professionalism and friendliness makes the move as smooth as possible. Casey and the maintenance team have been very responsive with all the necessary repairs needed. Glad to join this warm community!
The apartments here are fantastic honestly, and Anthony from the leasing office has always been super accommodating! I’ve read a bunch of other reviews of “soundproofing” and “too much noise”. They don’t know what they’re talking about. These are some of the most quiet apartment buildings you can find in this area. Also this is comment is coming from friends who live in other buildings as well! Living on middle & bottom floors you can BARELY hear footsteps and can never hear anything through the walls whatsoever. Great parking situation, plenty of visitor parking, other tenants are friendly enough and the clubhouse is great. They have a nice little gym! (I do wish it had a couple more cardio machines for like when it’s busy, but it’s still great) They’ve constantly been doing renovations and the place has been looking better & better every day! Definitely recommend living here for sure
The Royal Belmont is a great and safe place to live. I am a single mother with a 9 year old and the school bus pulls right into the complex. The amenities are top notch (especially a free shuttle to Alewife Train Station ). I have not experienced any of the negative issues that some residents are reporting on these reviews. Quite frankly, it upsets me because it’s a great place to live and negative reviews can unnecessarily hurt a business. I have a great rapport with Management as they are always attentive to my inquiries. Maintenance issues are addressed and resolved within the hour. I think people just like to complain by nature. I actually find the staff to be very caring and if you just approach them calmly and logically, they will work with you on anything you need. Remember, working with a serial complainer is impossible. I find the community to be very quiet. Rarely there is noise but of course you will sometimes hear your neighbors. This is an apartment complex, not a single family home. The location is stellar as the complex borders Arlington and Cambridge. I’ve made a few friends here since I have been a resident and they expressed positive feedback as well. I am a happy resident and will be renewing my lease in the future.
