Waterside Residence's is a 12 building, luxury apartment complex. I am one of the first residents in building 1 from 2017, some of the paint was still wet on move in day, lol. I have enjoyed every month, every year here. The management team is excellent, caring, prompt and that is the same with the maintenance team. The buildings are safe, routinely checked and properly maintained. The grounds are beautiful and constantly maintained, the dog park is awesome, the gym's are top notch, the pools, hot- tubs, fire-pits, outside kitchens, outside TV's, outside pool-table, etc are incredible. I am very happy to call Waterside Residence's my home and highly recommend this community.

I applied this weekend for an apartment at Waterside. I’ve been waiting for a 3 bedroom, first floor for 3 years from here and it finally opened. I’m super excited to hear back so my family and I can move into my dream apartment.

Just moved out of Waterside this past weekend after 1 year of living there. I had previously only lived in houses (rent & own) and was nervous to live in an apartment for the first time. They really made all that worry disappear! I truly enjoyed living at this complex. Not only is the property beautiful but the staff were almost always prompt and quick to respond, the amenities were great and I always felt super safe which is so important. I have had so many friends that have talked about how they felt unsafe as young women walking in and out of their apartments at night but I literally never once felt unsafe here. It helps that is in a good area and well lit. The only real issue I had while living here was I had two packages stolen. One was an Amazon package I believe so I didn't care too much but the other was an expensive textbook for school & I was pretty freaking pissed about the textbook. I ended up owing my school double what it was worth because it was a rental so that was frustrating but that was really the only issue I had living here! They also have redone the package room to be more secure since then and I believe have added or are adding cameras in there? Overall I enjoyed living here. It was a bit disappointing the rent is increased every single year (I talked to a couple people that had lived here longer than me) but I know this is common in apartment complexes. If they don't up the prices too much while I'm living elsewhere I would absolutely consider moving back! Even just for the pool and amenities it would be worth it!

We have lived here for a year and to be honest compared to the other apartments around the johnson county area this is the best place weve live no its not always quiet weve yet to find an apartment that is, saying that it is the quietest place weve lived in. The layout is goofy but cozy kitchens arent the biggest but enough room to cook and prep a good amount of food. The bathrooms are decent sized plenty of cabinet space for towels and all the extra junk The apartments are insulated well enough to where it holds the temperature for most of the day only issue we had was when it was in the negative temps Elevators are a life saver for hauling groceries Patios are decent sized and can get a full set of patio furniture on them, the pool is nice can definitely get packed but its a beautiful pool and the walking trail is nice for cool nights. Its very pet friendly almost everybody has a dog and ive yet to meet a dog that hasnt been a sweet heart In all i definitely recommend here the staff recently changed so i dont know them but they have been just as nice as the people before, yes they get busy and the office can get full but thats there job busy is good that means this place a desirable to live. Ive yet to see any other apartment that weve lived in have an office and staff that busy and still get stuff taken care of. P.S. maintenance is on top of things as well usually less than a day

I haven’t moved in here yet, I’m hopping to do so as soon as my application is approved. I’m writing this review because I was astounded at how nice the place was. The price was right, the amenities were beautiful, the location is good, and the apartments themselves are very nice renovated. My girlfriend and I have been looking for a place for a couple of weeks. We’re probably been to 6-7 places, and this place really stood out. I want to give a special thank you Irving at the leasing office. He was very nice, very welcoming and extremely helpful. He helped give the place amazing vibes and made my desire to move in that much stronger. I don’t usually write Google reviews, but that’s just how impressed I was.

I absolutely loved living here. This complex offers great amenities, it’s clean, the office staff is very knowledgeable and prompt with request, maintenance is great, the complex parties are so fun especially in the summer, and of course I always looked forward to coming home. I never had any issues within the 2 years I lived here. I am very sad to be moving due to personal circumstances. If I had the chance to move back here I would say yes in a heartbeat. Overall my experience at Waterside was so positive and I’ll always be thankful for being able to call this place home.

We moved into our Waterside apartment in July 2024. We love our apartment and although we are not the median age here (we're in our 70's) everyone has been so friendly, kind and helpful! Including strong guys that have helped us with heavy packages more than once. There aren't enough superlatives to describe the leasing agents/problem solvers! Even on a rough day they wear a smile and are ready to help! Then there's the maintenance department. They are prompt, courteous and friendly! So if you're looking for a great place to live in Lenexa, you should take a look at Waterside. We're glad we did!
